Dev and Sona were in the same junior college, be it different streams but still they knew each other, just like normal friends or batch mates.
Spending two years in a college and not knowing your batch mates is not really possible, so some. How they knew each other.
Sona always found herself attracted to Dev , but Dev was jus way too focused so as to notice anything other that his carrier.
According to Dev he had a lot to take care and couldn't spend tym on such things.
He had his mom , his three sisters who he had to take care of , their dad had expired when he was hardly 8 , so now his mom took care of the house alone , he wanted to take over his mom so that she could rest and enjoy life a bit.

It was the last day of college followed by the Farrell in the evening.
Tina: Sona aj Akhri din hai, aj toh Bata de Dev ko ki how much you like him.
Sona: don't be a fool Tina , yeh sort ek silly college crush hai, and you know how Dev is, he won't like it.
Tina: come on ya Sona...
Sona: it's not like I expect anything from him , but still he won't even like me expressing my feeling, n more over I don't want leave him in any delema or disturb him.
Tina: okay , as u say...chal sham ki tayari krte hai.
Sona: hogayi na ...
Tina: kya hogayi, chal parlour hate hai, ready hoke directly college jayenge.
Sona:aree abhi kitni tym hai.
Tina: ha toh ready hone mei lag Jayega utna tym.
Sona: acha chalo.
They levee for the parlour.

In the evening it's the college the farewell party.
Sona: mei thi toh lag rahi hu na...I'm nervous, u know yeh saree mere bas ki baat nai hai.
Tina: Sona bhot pretty lag rahi hai trust me, aj agar joke Dev ko tune propose Kiya na , he's gona loose al this focus.
Sona: tu phir shuru Ho gayi.
Tina : okay forget it now enjoy the party.
They entered the party, the start was a all about a few speeches and a few awards, and after that every one was enjoying the party.
Drinks (soft drinks) were being served .
Sona: Tina , I'm really thirsty...
Tina: yeh pic le na cold drink...
Sona: par Mujhe pani chaiye
Tina: ab ke lye yeh pile , thoda tym baad Jante hai.
Sona: okay.
Some being thirsty drank 3 glasses of juic yet her thirst wasn't quenched.
Tina: Lagta hai aj Khanna nai khane wali, Siri cold drink.
Sona: nai idk kuch alag sa taste hai iska, try kar.
Tina tried it out , were as Sona gulped another one
Tina: omg , I think this drunk is spiked
By the time Sona had few more glasses .
Tina: Sona aree yeh mat pina,
By the time Tina could stop her Sona was high and went to the dance floor.
Sona was busy dancing with her other friends who were also high, and Tina was just trying to find Sona in the crowd.
Tina: ab yeh Sona kaha chali gayi.
By the time she saw Payal , who was quite dizzy.
She thought of informing some one , but informing some teacher would make things worse so she jus tried to tell her friends not to have the cold drink as they are spiked.
Tina saw Karan and a few other friends dancing.
Tina : Karan Yaha Ayo ...( pulling Karan to a corner)
Karan: kya hua
Tina : these drinks are spiked , please look in to the matter before things get worse.
Karan: seriously ...even I thought the taste was different.
Tina: Payal is already dizzy I'm taking her to the doctor , and Sona is also high , she must be some where here , please take care of her and inform the others.
Karan : ya don't worry I l Handel it.
Tina left with Payal , Payal was acting all weird , like she din want to go and dance .
Tina however managed to take her away.
Karan went and told the other friends about it.
Karan: Mohit you go and chk the serving section ...
Swati go and find Sona, she must be some where here .
And the rest of you will see if anyone needs help.
I will go with Mohit and take care of the drinks.
By the time Swati was trying to find Sona, she finally found her. But she saw her going towards some one.
Swati : omg she's going to Dev, should I stop her...
Swati got diverted to Siya who came to her pulling her to the dance floor.

Sona was dancing when she found Dev at a corner .
She jus dint know wat she was doing next , she found herself walk to him.
Dev on the other side saw Sona coming .
Dev: oh y is she coming her , I'm not gina go n dance .
Sona went to Dev ...
Sona: Dev ...
She left it incomplete and fainted in his arms.
Dev dint knew wat to do , she simply came and fainted ,
He patted her cheek so as to make her gain counciousness.
But instead she slightly opened her eyes and looked at him.. and smiled at him , trying to steady herself , she again fumbled and Dev caught her.
Dev : what's wrong ...
Jus then Karan saw them
Karan: hey dev could you please take care of her , actually the drinks here got spiked , Tina jus told me to take care of Sona , but I'm already ...
Dev dint let him complete
Dev: it's ok I'll take care.
Dev felt the need to keep Sona safe, he was Angry at the thought of her drink being spiked.
He tired to wake her up , but all in vain.
He called up Tina
Dev: Tina Sona has fainted . Should I take her to the doc.
Tina: no Dev I think you should take her to our room ... Il be there soon , I'm with Payal now.
Dev: okay il take her there , you come soon.
Tina: ya Dev il be there.
Dev carried Sona out of there , they went to the hostel building which wasn't far.
As Dev carried her she snuggled in closer to him.
Dev jus noticed her smile, but her knew she wasn't in her senses.
He carried her up. The room being open they got in,
He placed her on her bed and thought of waiting in the room but he choose to sit on a chair next to her bed.
But Sona held his hand .
She wasn't in her senses but she could sense him.
Sona: Dev
Dev: Sona , you should rest, Tina is coming .
Sona: oh tell her to be a little late. ( she giggled)
Trying to sit up.
Dev: nai Sona , don't get up , you should go to sleep.
Sona : ha so jaungi, but tum dream mei toh Ayoge, so ab tumse baat Karti hu.
Dev a bit confused.
Dev:kya...Sona ur not in ur senses
Sona: tum dream mei ake Mujhe Roj propose krte Ho, par Sachi mei ate h nai.
Dev couldn't understand anything.
Sona: bolo na ab Ki mei
Sona trying to get up , but ended up fainting , she kept mumbling some thing .
Dev got near her to listen to her.
Sona : love you Dev , I really do.
Dev was more than shocked to listen to that, he dint know wat to do, he got up and went to the door, but came back , he covered Sona with a blanket and turned to leave but she held his wrist,
Sona: Dev...
Dev turned and saw her , but she was asleep.
He removed his hand from her hold and left .
He waited for Tina outside the room and regularly kept checking on Sona .
After some time Tina came and Dev left.
From the next day onwards , Dev being Dev ignored Sona and much to her annoyance she dint remember anything about the farewell night.
