He was more angry with her for even thinking he could attempt to rape her. I think that is what pissed him off the most! And that is why no matter what she did post that, were never good enough because she did not trust him. Why should he trust her? Like you said his feelings were masked with hatred and the audience got to see the parvarish of PVR's in Aryan. It was definitely the coldness in her behavior that turned him from the I am going to respect you Aryan to the I am going to make your life hell Aryan! He just wants her to leave him and in the process he is doing everything he can to ruin her vishwas that this marriage is going to work. Little does he know, if she was to walk away (which she MIGHT do post this drug track, provided Tulsi has her way😆), he will be a lost little boy. But he does not see that. She taunts him and it bothers him to the extent that he tries to portray to her, that he is a better human being...and yet claims she does not bother him!

When she was screaming in that precap, she let her guard down and he got to see his old Aaru again at her most vulnerable and for that moment at least her screams were so haunting to his soul that he had to let go of all his hatred in order to comfort her and make her realise he was there to protect her from whatever she was trying ward off from that nightmare.

He will be her only source of support in this scandal that his mother has formatted. Tulsi despite wanting to will not be able to help her Aaru. It will all fall on Aryan to help her, and am hoping that will help him reconnect with his old self!

I am hoping that is the point of this track, ie his redemption...or the beginning of it atleast! Aaru is all alone in that house, and he is the only person who can protect her in this vulnerable state of hers. He knows his family hates her, so am hoping he uses his brains and pick up on the fact that they are trying to turn her into a crazy chica in order for her to be thrown out. I am sure he will figure it out, as he is the only one capable of doing so...(Well not true, as Kumu might do it...but am hoping the makers use Aryan in this track as the truth finder!)

Each one of you have written so beautifully that I am feeling loss of words to be very honest 👏 ...

If the creatives can handle properly, Aaradhya leaving Aryan resulting his self-destruction could be a real treat to watch. And that, at least for me, would be his ultimate penance and subsequent redemption. Then Aaradhya can take over from there 😉.. But frankly, going by my previous horrible experiences, I'm not hoping much either.

Anyways, I don't know why I've always felt that the creatives have purposefully kept the real love story for future only. As I've mentioned in one of my previous posts that I, personally, felt that AA's story was quite rushed; it was like "jhat love pat veha". So I'm really hoping this time they would portray something which we can remember for a long time.

You guys are absolutely correct. In order to connect with a character, the audience need to have at least a couple of glimpses of the inner turmoils the character is facing. The creatives have failed to do so for Aryan. The damage has already been done. What I would really appreciate from them is that they portray a real and rigorous redemption track for Aryan and do not mellow down Aaradhya in the process.

Apologies for this incoherent blabbering. Somehow I'm not being able to find the right tempo to write properly 😭 ...

@Chandrima....Your response was certainly coherent!😳 It was clear and concise and I had a fine time reading it!

That would be brilliant if they show Aryan's self destruction when Aaru eventually says enough is enough and leaves!! I would love to see Pavitra's reaction then watching her son destroy himself. I still have some faith in these makers because from what I have seen in the past in the show, they have handled things just fine! And to be fair, Aryan's character is such that he cannot live without Aaru. He might think presently that he can, but we all know better. Yes their love story was rushed but the passion was there and somehow they grew very possessive about one another! Aryan could have been defined as a little obsessive especially when he gets angry at her choking game! Her life is his and his only! And we got the same obsessive behavior from Aaru during the burning of the bed!! Now its time for them to truly work towards their love by building its foundation on a bed of trust.

Lets see how they work on Aryan's character from here onwards! Aradhya will need him the most now and we all know he has always been her knight in shining armour, so he has to be the one to save her!!

Would just like to add: For Aryan, Aradhya used to be innocence, his sense of right and wrong, his polestar. Then with the rape allegation, he lost faith in her & stopped believing in her integrity. Her character was tainted in his eyes.

When Aru was having that drug induced nightmare, she was unguarded & vulnerable. Aryan leapt to her side by pure instinct. When he saw her, he was like seriously shaken up & reverted to being the original Aryan. She was again his old innocent Aru again.

I'm glad they showed Aryan sleeping besides her , holding her hand.

Also the next day, in front of the doctor he almost said that he couldn't sleep properly the entire night for worrying for her 😃

I'm now curious to see how this drugged!Aru tracks plays out against the larger obsessed!Jairaj track

In his obsession, Jairaj will attempt something drastic and dangerous against Aru. Wonder how Aryan will react to this

@ Eloquent .. The drugging track if extended would b a torture for us too! I wonder who's goin to find out abt the drugging thing .. Tulsi or Aryan.. Mostly Aryan .. N mayb Naku is goin to tk the blunt of the blame 😃

Jayraj is a scary character .. Esp if they start mellowing Aryan's character n this Jayraj starts his obsession game then hopefully Aryan wil not b bck on square one ! The changes in Aryan's character should b steady ..

N Im not too fond of deshmukh 's trying to con rao family of their money .. esp coz its Aryan's first business deal .. N I dnt want the bankrupt track .. Has been done in umpteen shows before ..

Mayb jayraj track is to improve aaru's relationship with shashwat n gayu .. N of course Aryan
