Thanks Nitipp for the excellent update. The Minister seems to be taking the lead again. Wonder why Thols has not approached the Judge so far with the damning conversation recorded with the Inspector. One more example of leaving loose different story strings.

I just came across a news article.
One Mr.Sainath, president of some club in chennai has filed a complaint with the police commissioner that Thols is depicting police and Law in a very degrading manner in his serial!!!!!

He has said that the armed forces and the police force in India are to be treated with the greatest respect at all times and this type of potrayals on TV should be banned.

Our great Thols has replied that Mr. Sainath is just looking for cheap publicity and that so far NO ONE has said anything against the serial. He has even said that Kolangal is the BEST serial on TV as of date(!!!!!!) and many Police officers and their families are great fans of this serial.

My blood boiled on seeing his reply!! WE MUST DEFINITELY MAKE OUR VIEWS CLEAR TO THOLS AND ENLIGHTEN HIM.DIRECTORS AND PRODUCERS LIKE HIM MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO THE SOCIETY.

Caryn,Meli and all of you energetic members of IF please think of what can and must be done.
