Thuls is probably justifying what Abhi did as the director - probably aware of the flak he is getting.

I dont think anything can justify Abhi's act of cheating and hurting her mother at the last moment. How correct was it to go through all the rituals till the last minute. Also she messed up Anandhi's wedding.

This whole idea of Abhi having motherly pasam to her sibblings is crap. She is shown as quite dictatorial and the build up is of her being great. For instance did not all three friends start the company together. Why name it Abhi construction?

Only Anandi's character is balanced and real.

Usha is right, Mr. Thiruselvam. Abhi's actions are deplorable. There were other ways - you could have convinced Mahesh to come and tell her mom that since Abhi is not interested he would rather marry Sumathi. What is wrong in that? And Abhi could have just lied saying she does not like Mahesh . Thols, dont even try to justify Abhi's action. A mistake is a mistake, just repent and say sorry. And one more thing, you better ask sorry to all the viewers who have been putting up with the 🤬 you have been dishing out all these years. 😡 nee mattum enga kayila maatina....

Actually when Abhi's mother tried to get her married to again to Basky she said she would marry Mahesh and then challenged Basky that not even a mad women would marry him.
So Abi just played the fool with her mother and owe's her a huge apology and stop playing the "amma thappa purnchindanga" role.
Chitti is equally wrong as she accepted to be in the wedding though she knew what abhi did was wrong.
No point in blaming the mother
