In my country, they are showing a whitening cream ad where you are the model. There was two version. Version 1, you go and see the mapillai and check him out if he is suitable for you. Reversl role. I liked this ad because it is different and of course woman power. But...... I will come to this later

Second version, you take photograph with your male friend and he looks disgustingly at the pic and tears it off. You feel sad because you are dark and thus you were rejected. Then a girl comes and recommend you to the Fair & Lovely and then six weeks down the road you became fair and lovely. Then the guy who rejected you appeals and you take him back 😊

Now my questions are ......... (related to both ads of course)

1. Did you know that whitening cream can eventually cause skin cancer?

2. Why do you recommend this product or any whitening products to public?

3. I know this is an ad, but aren't you giving a false impression to the public when you are actually fair? You know public like to emaluate their idols. Aren't you giving a wrong message?

4. Supposing the ad #2 happened in real life to your friend would you recommend the product you modelled for to her?

5. When you were modelling for this product did the manufacturer give you assurance this product actually works?

6. the guy who rejected you appeals and you take him back if this were to happen to you in real life, would you take this guy back? 😉
