Great questions sri. Here are my answers to those thought-provoking questions of yours.😛

1) do you prefer happy ending movies, sad
ending movies, or you don't mind as long as the
ending is good.?

I prefer happy endings because for the simple reason, it makes me happy. However I've to admit sometimes a sad ending makes a bigger impact on the audiences. Some movies with sad endings have affected me quite a lot & I try to avoid them as much as I can because I'll probably be miserable for the rest of the day if I watch those films.😆😆😆

2) which movie ending did you like the most and
why?

Sad Movie Endings

Pithamagan – this movie really made me shed a lot of tears near the end. The way vikram cries at upon seeing surya's cremation & the way he leaves everyone in the end to become the loner he was at the beginning. It was so heart-wrenching!

Sethu – another vikram film with a sad ending. This film really affected me & made me notice vikram as a real powerhouse performer. The way he breaks the chain & escapes to abitha's house & sees her dead. His anguish, the shock & incredible heartbreak he sees upon seeing abitha's dead body. Omg.. I'm always depressed after I watch sethu's ending. It was a great ending but very very sad.😭😭

Moondram Pirai – do i have to say anymore? one of the best classic sad endings to a film. kamal pretending to do tricks for sridevi, falling down & injuring himself. the most heart wrenching scene was when sridevi gives kamal a packet of food thinking that he's a mad beggar. after all the trouble he went to cure her, she couldn't even recognise him. it makes me sad everytime i watch the film.

Kadhal – sandhya's anguished sobs in the climax where she finds bharath & blames herself for causing his madness still gives me goosebumps. the sheer intensity of sandhya's emotions is what made that wonderful sorrowful climax scene work.👏👏

Veiyil – pasupathy's death at the end of the film was unexpected. the way he gave up his life to save bharath's life proved how much he loved his brother. the ending where we see the whole family mourning for pasupathy's death after shunning him when he was alive was bittersweet.😊

Unnale Unnale – the ending of this film was unique. there was no tears, no over acting nothing dramatic except for the epilogue which was delivered flawlessly by sada. it was a sad but pratical ending to one of 2007's best films.😃

Happy Movie Endings

Jeyam – this was quite a different story whereby the heroine gives courage to the hero that too mainly with one dialogue. I found it refreshing that instead of raising the hero up on the pedestal by giving him strong dialogues in the climax, they made the heroine the stronger person out of the two. that was one ending i really loved.

Sachien - what a cute CUTE ending!😳😳 though my dislike for vijay is always present in some way or another, the ending of this film was absolutely predictable yet made me smile so wide. the sad way harini confesses her love for vijay then the adorable way she asks him to leave after that. goodness! that girl was too cute in the climax, vijay was also not too bad in that scene.😉

Povellam Kettupar – it was one of the most unique films to come out during it's time. i loved the way how both the hero & heroine go to the other's house & win over the parents house. it was a good clean film & the ending made me smile as it was the parents uniting the kids not the other way round.😊

Kalvanin Kadhali - the emotional dialogues nayantara exchanges with SJ Suryah in the climax made sense & also got through to the audiences without being over the top. this was another ending where the importance was with the heroine's expressions & dialogues rather than the hero.

3) which movie ending did you dislike the most
and why? how would you change the ending if
you're given a chance?

Aarya - i didn't really like the ending. it seemed a little too rushed. prakashraj's dialogues were somewhat too brief & madhavan's change of heart towards bhavana was a little too unbelievable. though the film was good, i didn't like the ending.😉

Love Today - okay, it was really great that vijay finally realised his dad raghuvaran's words & went for the job interview with the support of his friends but what about his love for suvalakshmi?😔

how could he just brush aside all those intense feelings he had for her & say that he's forgotten her?😔 i would have liked it if they had shown vijay getting a good job in the end & marrying suvalakshmi, bringing her out of the hell her father always put her in.😛

Anbudan - uff.. this was a bad film with a even worse ending. there was not one but two heroines in the film. meena & ramba. yet not even one of them were fully useful neither at the start nor in the climax.👎🏼👎🏼

the real face of arunkumar's lover wasn't shown in the climax. he didn't even see her face after all she had done for him. his love was unsuccessful & the ending was unsuccessful as well.😆😆
