Thanks for the pics. Ayyooh.. evlo, evlo, evlo azhagu indha Surya! I know you posted the pics, so we could see Jyothika with minimal makeup, but I just couldn't resist looking at adorable Surya.

😆 Maybe I shud hv cut off surya from those pics

Ok shifting back to Jyothika, I admit she was a star, I said it in my earlier post, myself. But I'm sure it would've been harder for Jyothika to have survived in today's film world with the kind of body she had a few years ago.

Well, SI movies don't really look for bodies, do they?. Look at Nayan tara. But Jo wudn't hv survived in bollywood, for one thing(mybe thts why her hindi movie didnt work

See.. in your Mum's case it could be b'cos of several reasons. She had you, right? And probably you have siblings too.. It's much harder for a person of that age and after having babies too, to be as slim as the filmi personalities, unless you have some chinese gene in your family (BTW, it always amazes me, no matter how much or what they eat, the ones that I know at work or outside, always remain slim).

Holy cow, she doesn't want to be slim as film personalities.😆
But Jyothika did look very slimmed down in Manmadhan, and I don't think that dimished her looks in any other way. She did work very hard to get there, I presume. So, she was able to do it at some point in her life - not that it's in the family! I was just lamenting, she could've done it sooner sparing audience like me, who otherwise don't mind her acting! 😉

I swear. I'm sure I saw a very trim belly in Manmadhan.

Jeez is Taare zameen pe so good??? I gotto watch it. i know that Aamir is a perfectionist!!!! He would've come up with something super, for sure.

The only gochi here is that sometimes I am not able to handle real emotional sagas!!!! It does wierd things to my mood.

As far a sI know, Asin is only doing Ghajini in Hindi. The other movie , directed by Rakesh mehra (which rumours said she wud be d\oing) as already begun with Sonam Kapoor in the lead .

I swear. People are talking abt Asin as though she's a great actress. Amir Khan mentioned once that Asin's performance in Tamil Ghajini was 'stunning'. Wish he wud see other movies of Asin, and learn that Asin has only done repetetive roles so far.If she's making it big in bollywood, after Sridevi, then I hope she gets different roles and not the same kind 😊

I wish actresses like Meera Jasmine, Sada , Sneha etc wud also get exposures as these 'big ' actresses are getting😕

Oh God, ditty, at last, someone who has the same opinion as me vis-a-vis Asin. She cannot act her way out of a paper bag - I find her eye-candy-floss - all sweet and pink and nothing inside. Enough to give me a toothache. Bleugh. She's in the same camp as Shreya, as far as I am concerned - only Shreya wears skimpier clothes, but I believe Asin started the trend.

I am going to bite the bullet here and admit that I like Trisha - yes, more than Asin, more than Shreya, more even than Nayantara.

However, after Jyo, the best actress for me is Sneha. Wish I could see more of her.

Karthikaa and all Kollywood news lovers,
Happy new year.

I hope everyone just follows the trend and stop being jealous about the success of those who really deserve it for running the box office.
Some of the top actresses in the great superstar's words have done more than those of yeateryear's in 200-250 movies in a single movie. Give him due credit, he's a god.

Yeah Meli.. I know sooner or later you are going to discuss Ajith's interview on SunTV 😉

I guess Ajith doesn't care about his image, but it did sink my heart to see him like that. Grey hairs in his beard too? Wow.. he should've at least colored that.. He had gelled his hair and didn't show that much grey, but the beard was a shocker when I first saw promos of his interview.. Yen ippadi Ajith?

Well.. I guess that's his character.. can only say Bravo.. but I would've personally liked to see him the way he looks in the movies. He was really cute whenever he smiled. I sat thro his interview religiously, barring the first 10 minutes or so which I missed due to bad time management. Is that when they showed clips of Billa?

You could see that he was always dodging questions on Shalini (or answering in just a couple of words). To me, it just seemed like he was quite nervous and very guarded, restrained throughout the interview. It was interesting nevertheless. For some reason, I couldn't help compare this with Vikram's interview last year (I do like both of them). Viku was far too spontaneous..
