If anyone has not seen Jeyam Kondein, then you should.
The story is about a conflict between a man and his half sister who he had no knowledge of. But the half sister knows about him. Some of the actors are Vinay, Bhavana, Lekha (I believe she is new and she has Monal's look), Vivek, Livingstone, a couple of other comedienes, although most of actors / actresses' real name I do not know. 😳 Malavika (TKV from Arasi), Usha from Kolangal and some new actors.
Meli, has given the review before so I won't expand on it otherwise you will loose the essence of the story. Although there are some comedy which I really liked and I want to tell out but then it will spoil the story. 😃
What I liked about the movie. The actors/actresses are of good cast. Good acting by each and everyone. Even this guy who was acting like gangster, his wife, were good in their acting and they looked new to me. The father inlaw (thalaivasal vijay) and his showmanship. Malavika. Everyone's acting was simply good. Nothing overdramatic about it. Music was very nice. I really liked them all. I would not hesitate to hear them all over again. The comedy was really good and I was laughing away at 5 am in the morning. The emotions shown by all them was good. Scenries, background, locations were all excellent. I also liked there was no flashback. The father's relationship with the second wife was a mystery till the end.
What I did not like about the movie - on personal note - Vinay looked haggard. I wish he was clean shaved. I think it is high time Vivek quit being a "youth" . It does not suit him anymore. As friend is well expected but youth??? hmmmmmm...... there are other comediennes who are more youthful. They should be given a chance to act as youth. It irritates the hell out of me to see Vivek/Vadivelu get the 'youth' criteria even though they were no where near and cannot carry out the youth act very well.
The movie was a bit slow. I wish they had given more emphasis on brother-sister relationship than emphasis on fights. It was unnecessary. They should have given more scenes for romance/friendship etc.
One the whole the movie was really good. ⭐️ and a half. 👏
