Priyam is an important part of the storyline and him being there makes the show interesting (atleast for me) If even Sevakram and Chanda have their share of parts to play which are somewhere or the other important to the storyline, then a character like Priyam has a huge part to play there.

I thoroughly enjoy watching the scenes between Priyam and Rishabh. Priyam can manipulate, an emotionally vulnerable Geetanjali. That's what he's been doing all along by claiming to be Abhimanyu and sharing details only Abhimanyu could have known.

Besides, Priyam could also be related to Ragini, if it was all acting for him and nothing more he wouldn't be giving those smug looks and wicked smiles seeing Rishabh and Geetanjali in trouble. And probably would have started genuinely sympathizing with Geetu looking at her state.

The problem is, they are showing a 6 years old kid doing all this even if he was trained and just doing an act. A kid of this age can act for sometime like an adult but he always remains in this avatar and has no symptoms of a kid who is just 6 years old.

Exactly my thoughts, he is so irritating. Kids don't look good when they act like adults. I remember I used to absolutely hate character of Aarav in Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon and now again a kid is trying to behave like an adult and is hell annoying.
