Rakhi in legal trouble over bathtub scene

Nagpur, May 1 (IANS) Rakhi Sawant, known for her raunchy video numbers, has landed in a legal soup for posing in a bathtub against a statue of Lord Buddha in a TV show.

A complaint has been filed against her with the police in Maharashtra's Amaravati district by a Buddhist group, which said the actress had hurt their religious sentiments. They also burnt her effigy and raised slogans against her.

The case was filed under Section 295 of the Indian Penal Code for intending to insult a religion.

Police have not taken any action so far, media reports said.

as am buddhist am really hurt.. i began to like her after big boss now she getting my nerve on.. i dunno how true dis article is buh.. she should have thought abt it before posing..

Without seeing the video, we shouldn't jump to conclusions. Also, She may have posed for it, but it was most likely the director's call. I hate the fact that people like Rakhi get the brunt of it, when there are people behind the scenes who are really responsible for it. They never get punished for their actions. That's wrong.

why dont they put her in prison permanatly so that way save the need for ppl to bother suing her. They sd lock her up and throw the keys away.

She's just a disgusting shameless woman.

This is really not fair!She is after all a human being!And by the way who r u to decide wezer she should be sent to jail or not??Also how can u say that she is a disgusting and shameless woman??By saying that u r hurting so many fans of hers!!Though I'm not a big fan of her I respect her as a human being and would not say such harsh things about her!!

As far as that article is concerned well its not really her fault but that of the director!She was just following his instructions!Y is it that helpless people like her always have to take the blame and undergo so many problems!!I think its not fair!!

i agree with u to some extent although sometimes it feels like she is so desperate for money that she is ready to go to any extent without any morals that somewhere down the line she loses her dignity.i guess she needs the money badly or is very hungry for fame..overally she is a good human just a little lost though
