Ash or Kareena in Dhoom 2? - Page 5

You are so very correct ...It really was a blessing Aishwarya was in Dhoom 2 and not Kareena ..that lady does not know dancing and is so awkward as an actress and dancer..

actually neither, Kareena overacts and Aishwarya barely acts... 😕

As I saw this conversation going on in a thread, I thought, I'd make this poll to see whom people would've preferred. Ash or Kareena... please go for acting skills only. No looks.

Firstly, i cannot stand both of them. They are justt 🤢

but Well we can't just consider who will be a better choice in Dhoom 2 based on the acting only, coz alot of other factors matter ...

Sunheri was about
- looking hot, acting oversmart, great dancer and having great chemistry with Hrithik/Aryan.

Abt looking hot ..erm ..i think ash luked verryyy hot with the tanned complexion. erm i can't imagine kareena tanned and sexy. It would luk fake i guess. So, in tht sense, i would go for ash.

Acting oversmart ..🤢 Ash was wayy annoying in D2. Her acting oversmart made her appear dumb in tht sense.
And kareena always tries to act oversmart in real n reel life.
Should have been easier for kareena to act oversmart in tht sense. And personally, i feel Kareena is a better actress than ash. So, acting wise.. Kareena snatches the crown from Ash.

Great Dancer.. no question here. Ash is a far better and superior dancer than kareena. period.

And abt chemistry with hrithik .. well yeah i liked Kareena and Hrithik together in k3g but in dhoom2, the whole feel and ambiance required a different kinda chemistry n level of comfort n hrithik-ash perhaps is a better couple choice than hrithik-kareena for dhoom2.

so overall, i guess ash wud still hv been a better choice than kareena though Kareena is a better actress than Ash. but i can't stand both anyways! 🤢

i just loved Dhoom 2 coz of hrithik.

And honestly, i dun care who wud hv been in sunheri's place. So long as Aryan doesn't change! 😳

And apparently some other people on these forums can't see that a film is determined to be a success on whether the story is well written and if the acting is believable, not on which two stars look the hottest together.... hypocritical? And last I remember it was pretty much the Hrithik show, sure ash was noticed somewhat but she did not effect the outcome of the film at the box office.

I find ALL that "biased" what I've quoted. I started the post to have people's opinion about whom they think would've been better. It's nothing personal against any actor. I made it clear that this was based on acting skills only. Your post was totally biased and looks like you can't hear a single word about Ash and that's okay for me... but we surely are not biased and if you think so read your post once again.

I agree with what you say ...yet I feel that if you are considering Kareena's merits and pitting them opposite those of another actress then comparisons will be made also on skills apart from acting..Like whether she looks the part at all. This is a hyperbole but we cannot pick the legendary Tun Tun for any part played by Meena Kumari or Vyajantimala.or vice versa .They are good actresses all but they fit into certain roles.

I personally feel that Aishwarya played the part of the cat burglar quit efficiently ..and managed to dazzle in that .Dhoom 2 was definitely helped by her star status.😊

honestly i hated the character of sunehri .. her looks, dressing and everythign was jus horrible. and top of tht it was played by ash 🤢 she looked horribly anorexic to me.. and the dance steps she was given were jus hilarious. in my opinion kareena would do a better job at it but at the end of the day im thnkful she dint do it. the role was useless.. the only thing good about dhoom 2 was hrithik thts it!!!

p.s this is my opinion so dnt jump on me if ure an ash fanatic.. u cant chgne my opinion 😛

Aishwarya was downright fake in Dhoom 2. Get that clear.
