They do talk although hema and her daughters live together, separately from the others. In her earlier interviews, Esha explained how she probably got on better with Bobby and their cousin Abhay as they were more outgoing but she was also pretty close to Sunny. She said that everytime Sunny used to come to London for shooting he used to take her back a pair of trainers as they were her favourites.

I think they (especiially the boys) don't talk so much about her in interviews cos they are a really private family - how much do you ever hear abour sunny's wife and kids? and also cos they didn't want Esha to go into films. Dharmendra kept saying she looked too much like a kid, but when Naa tum Jaano na Hum with Hrithik Roshan came out he said she looked like beautiful doll and supported her more.

hey, here's another bit of scoop i got from my parents (since dharamendra was a huge star in their generation, they knew what happened during the dharam-hema romance):

so sunny adn bobby are sons from his first marriage, but then he started seeing hema, and he wanted to marry her, but at the same time, he didn't want to divorce his existing wife, except the law wouldn't allow him to have two wives. so in order to marry hema w/o divorcing the first wife, dharamendra converted to islam, so that lawfully allowed him to have two wives. i don't think he practices islam, but i think legally that is his religion.

nah i dont think its true coz i remember seeing in an article that Dharmendra divorced his first wife n then married Hema
also its in the law that you cant convert to another religion just for the sake of 2 wives

i really wana know now if dharmendras actually converted...? it sounds stupid tho 2 convert in2 sumin 2 hav 2 wives n stuff... hey btw where does dharmendras 1st wife liv... i mean with herr sons or sumwhere else in india n not mumbai? she wasnt an actress was she...?

This converting to Islam thing came up a few years ago when Dharmendra was in politics. Dharmendra sai dthat he had respect for every religion but he had not converted to Islam and that the opposition party was just trying to create a scandal.
Don't know if he was lying though.
