Update--- September 21, 2005 ---Abhay is back but.....

KKusum is working at her new job… Her co worker comes there and informs her that there is a phone call for her… It's Abhinav on the line… We are not shown their conversation… Abhinav seems very happy and so is Kkusum… Kkusum tells Abhainav that she will be there soon… She informs her co worker that she will be back in half an hour… She goes to the hospital and meets Abhinav… She says that she can't believe whatever he told her on the phone… Abhinav says that when we are surrounded by problems, then it happens that we are not able to believe if something good happens… He asks her to see it for herself… They show Abhay walking towards her… The whole family seems really happy including Arundati… There is a kid playing with a toy car there, Abhay goes to him and takes it from him and says that this is his car and he will not give it to anyone… Everyone is shocked… Sarla is crying… Abhay goes to Sarla and hugs her like a little kid and says that 'mummy, I will not give this car back'… Abhinav is shocked… Kkusum goes to Abhay and very politely takes the car from him and gives it to the kid… Abhay gets mad at her and says 'App gandi hein, app ney meri car ussay day dee'…. He says he wants his car back… KKusum tells him that she is kkusum and what is he doing but Abhay does not listen… He insists like a little kid that he wants his car back… Kkusum asks Nitin and Sarla to explain to him that she is his Kkusum… Kkusum gets hysterical and is crying… She goes to Abhinav and says that he told him that Abhay was fine but why is he behaving like that… Abhanav doesn't know… Kkusum start to go back to abhay when Abhay points towards her and asks Sarla who Kkusum was… Kkusum is shocked… Abhay behaves like a little kid… Abhinav goes to Abhay and talks to him nicely… Abhay turns to him and asks him if he would get him a remote control toy… Abhinav says he will and asks him to come with him… Lali and Nitin look upset…Abhinav says that he might have to perform a few tests to see why he is behaving that way… Kkusum is crying…
They show Abhinav consulting some other doctors… Everyone is standing in the waiting area… Sarla tries to console Kkusum… Kkusum says that her Abhay didn't recognize her… Just then, Abhinav comes out and tells them that Abhay's brain is working like an eight year old now… Everyone is shocked… He says that he does not remember anything that happened after he was eight… He says that he only recognizes his parents… The doctor comes there and Kkusum asks him to do something… The doctor informs her that he can't do anything, and that they should take him to a psychiatrist or to a mental asylum… Kkusum gets wild at the doctor and says that the doctor has gone mad…. Sarla tries to control her… Abhinav suggests that they should take him home… Chalte Chalte song goes on in the background… Flashbacks of Abhay acting like a kid… Kkusum and Abhay hugging… Flashback of when they left Kapoor house are shown…
The family comes back to the chavl… Nitin and sarla bring in Abhay… Everyone is sad… Abhay asks sarla why they brought him there… He asks them to take him to their house… He points to Kkusum and asks what's she doing there… Abhay says that he will not talk to her since she gave away her toy… Sarla and Kkusum cry… sarla asks Kkusum not to cry… Kkusum says that she is tired of all that she has been going through...
Abhay is shown sitting on the bed and coloring… Kkusum brings food for him and tries to feed him… He says that he will eat with Mummy's hand… Kkusum insists but gets hurt on her head by Abhay's color pencils…
Abhinav is putting Simi to bed… She insists that she wants to go to Kkusum but Abhinav scolds her… Simi starts crying and Abhinav says that he will take her there…
Kkusum is sitting outside… Flashback scenes of Abhay are shown again… Simi comes there and asks her why she doesn't stay with her… Kkusum says that she has no relation with her but she seems like her own… Abhinav understands what she is trying to say and says that Abhay can at least walk and talk now… Kkusum says that she cannot think of a life without Abhay…
Kkusum calls out for Abhay… She sees sarla standing outside… sarla tells her that abhay is playing with the kids… Sarla says that her Abhay has become a kid again… Kkusum says that he might get hurt so she'll go get him… In the mean time, Abhay falls while playing and asks the other kids why they pushed him and now he will push them back… Kkusum comes there and asks him to come with her… Abhay says that he wants to play… he looks sad… The other kids ask Kkusum to take him as he fights with everyone… They says that he is a grown up but he still plays with them… Abhay says that he is a kid… The kid asks her to take him as he is mad… Abhay refuses to go… Kkusum gets angry at him and says that she will slap him if he doesn't come… Abhay gets upset and says that he will tell Mummy about it and that Kkusum is bad… The kids start shouting 'Pagal, pagal…' Abhay leaves from there... Kkusum is really sad…
