He didn't murder anyone. His mother's Reema and Deevanshi just made it like that. Really it was Reema and Deevanshi who murdered his father. So the answer to ur question is that he thought he murdered his father. Reema and Deevanshi wanted him killed...and they thought that an easy way was to use Siddharth...what happend was Raman (his father) had just got a new gun...he collected them..and Siddharth was like let me see...and he always played guns with his dad...but Siddharth had fake ones...and Siddharth thought it might be fake so he aimed it at him and pulled the trigger...but the gun was unloaded...and someone else shot Raman from far away...that's why Siddharth thought that he killed his father but later Reema and Deevanshi admit it that they did it...
