Every Friday,10.30 P.M. On Star Plus Nausheen Ali Sardar who became famous as Kkusum, is perhaps going to be the first television actress, who will don a triple role in a new serial on Star Plus titled Kaalachakra. The serial, which is a remark of famous Latin teledrama, will see Nausheen playing the mother of twins (both again played by Nausheen) and is a supernatural thriller.

Nausheen is much exited about playing the title role and says, it's really a challenging role because I am playing the mother of twins. So there is penalty of scope for me to perform as all three characters are different entities.
While one of the twins will have a positive aspect, the other will have grey shades. Since, this is the first time that I am going to play a character with grey shades; I am really excited and looking forward to see how my fans will react!
Nausheen left Kkusum, when the serial look a 20- year leap and she was to be seen as the mother of a grown-up 18 year old daughter. How ever in kaalchakra, Nausheen's motherly character is only for a short span a time before the twins take center stage in the serial. The twins love interests are being played by Manav Singh and Mukul Dev.
The shooting is on for Kaalchakra & will be premiered on Star Plus from 19 th November, every Friday 10.30.p.m..
Nausheen who has recently acted in a Pakistani Serial Ana, with Humayun Saayeed, is very upbeat about her two serial Kaalchakra and Ana, which will be aired simultaneously in India and Pakistan.
What made Nausheen accept these two offers and leave Kkusum, which was so popular? She smiles and concludes, An actor should always try to change his / her image all the time. Playing Kkusum for three long years and reining the no 1 spot was really a humble experience. However, I couldn't relate to playing the mother to an 18 year old girl. Ana and Kaalchakra have both offered me a lot in a term of performance for an actress as the lead protagonist. And I guess, I am like all other human beings, who want to excel in life!
While Nausheen has showcased her talent enough through ads (modeling from the age of 16), music videos (remember the Pehle to kabhi kabhi Altaf Raja video) and serials, what she's looking forward to is some great films. I think are filmmakers wary about casting me because they feel if I have the time at all and that I'm busy with TV. Since earlier it was a daily show I didn?t have enough time to accommodate a film but now since Kaalchakra is a weekly show, I have time on hand so yes, I want to do films. I am a major film buff and the big screen is something which clearly fascinates me. Give me a good role and I will do complete justice to it, I will put my heart and soul into it. She says she would really love to work with the Yashraj, Varma Corp and the Rajshris banners. Are film producers listening for here's one actor who has proven enough on TV that she's someone to reckon with!
