Having just about recovered from the 'bare-it-all' party she hosted recently, Ekta Kapoor is all set to throw yet another theme party today. The party is being hosted to promote her forthcoming film Koi Aap Sa and will be held at the Bowling Company. This time, she insists that you bring 'your best friend' along to the party.
While her last party attracted a fair share of attention because of its bold theme, this time all eyes are on Dipannita Sharma (she stars in the film with Natasha and Aftab Shivdasani). The question doing the rounds is whether Abhishek Bachchan will escort Dipannita to the party or not.
With regards to the party, Ekta despatched personalised letters to the media that read as follows, "It's been a 'Kool' year for Balaji especially after the stupendous success of Kya Kool Hain Hum. Balaji Telefilms is now ready with its Koi Aap Sa. And since the story idea has been conceived by me, the film is very special to me. And I'm sure it will be very special to you 'coz it's a heart-warming story of two best friends who redefine the meaning of friendship. Looking forward to seeing you there and hey don't forget to bring your best friend along. B'coz friends are forever."
As for the film, it does not star Tusshar. "Tusshar didn't have dates for the film. But the entire post production is handled by him. In fact, he suggested Aftab's name for the film," said Ekta. When we contacted Dipannita about the party, she preferred to speak about the film instead. "It's an honest film, straight from the heart. I had so much fun doing the film. I'm sure the youth will relate to the film in a big way," she said. Natasha, who essays the role of a tomboy a la Kajol in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, added, "It was fun and challenging to do the film."
Talking about her recently concluded party, Ekta said, "Frankly it was not my idea at all and believe it or not, it was embarrassing for me. I partook in the theme along with the other guests. I wore a short skirt for the party. Now that's the most I can reveal."
