Hey Uzi,
Nice thoughts and a great post!
I agree with the fact that Reeva needs to be firm and should put her foot down in the right place/situations. Men like Soham find meek/mushy women not quite worthy of attention, as they tend not to demand respect like those who are firm and know how to take charge (not overbearing though).
Telling Soham that she doesn't like the way he dresses and behaves (to his face), with an excuse such as them not being married etc, will do more harm than good as it would not make sense to him. Imagine trying to explain traditions to a person who doesn't believe in core family values. Instead, Reeva needs to assure him that it is due to beliefs/principles she has set out for herself. That gives the illusion of her being in control of the decision, meaning Reeva might back out on it if/when she feels right. Soham has to appreciate that..
Sohams a doctor, therefore intellect in a lady has to be a major turn on for him. Hence, a woman able to hold up a conversation on various subjects would appeal to him. Reeva could read up on things that interest Soham so as to be able to keep his attention.
Reeva should sometimes let Soham in, they have known each other for forever and are engaged therefore some show of feelings (other than staring into thin air and wishing things were different) never harmed anyone..
Finally, what Desi said makes sense as well, if Reeva hasn't been able to capture Sohams imagination in all of 6 years, there's nothing much she can do to change the relationship. No matter how hard she tries, if his minds made up, Soham will always be thinking of and possibly waiting for/wanting something better..
