in 1986-87 when she was first introduced in betaab opp sunny deol she was 16 or 18 yrs i guess ....u can add up another 21 years to it ....shes around 38-39 i think so ....all approx ... 😕

Amrita made her bollywood debut in 1983 with "Betaab", a vastly successful film in which she paired with the debutant Sunny Deol. This was quickly followed by a succession of hits, such as "Sunny" in (1984); "Mard" and "Saaheb" in (1985); "Chameli Ki Shaadi" and "Naam" in (1986); "Khudgarz" in (1987), and so on. Amrita made a successful pair in several films not only with Sunny Deol, her co-debutant, but also with Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, two leading heroes of that era.

After her wedding in 1991, Amrita undertook virtually no new film commitments; however, she ventured into negative roles in this period, a novelty for a bollywood actress. The superhit "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman" (1992) wherein Shahrukh Khan got his first acting break, and "Aaina" (1993) were those in which she essayed such roles. These successes did not dissuade her from her resolve to retire into family life, and Amrita disappeared from the marquees after 1993. She returned to acting in 2005 with a character role in a television serial.

yup she was born in 1958 and she married Saif who was born in 1970. They had a 12 year age difference, Saif was I guess naive back then coz he was only 21 when he got married, look at him now, he looks so mature compared to his older movies.

u r right garv .....saif and amrita's jodi was not pefect one ..and cant believe she'll be 50 in another couple of years 😕
