FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
This one was certainly for the city's fashionistas. High-fashion followed by high-tea, Aminder and Vishal Madan's Thursday evening do was colourful, to say the least. Not solely because of the clothes and accessories on display, but because of the over-enthusiastic guests.
• CASUALLY SPEAKING: It's often said that fashion is all about being comfortable in what you're wearing. And sticking to that maxim were Dipannita Sharma in her denim jeans, Jesse Randhawa in a flair, printed skirt and Carol Gracias in a black sleeveless top.
• DRESS ME UP! Sandhya Shetty and Deepal Shaw preferred to go the feminine way. While Sandhya wore a green off-shouldered dress, Deepal looked petite in a red and white one.
• C'EST LA VIE(VEKA)! The presence of model Viveka Babajee sure got temperatures soaring on the already warm and sultry evening. Nice to have you back on the party circuit, Viveka.
• MIDAS' TOUCH: We thought Mandira Bedi's gold neckpiece and gold sneakers(!) were quite cool!
• NO 'CHANGE' HERE! Want to know what happens when you have too many clothes, and you can't decide which one to wear? Well, like Suchitra Pillai, you enter in a white dress and leave in a snazzy purple kurta!
• MISTAKEN IDENTITY! Pooja Rawal, who had quite a ball watching a movie with her brother earlier in the day, couldn't stop talking about the fun she'd had when everyone mistook them for a couple!
• DESIGNS ON US:
Among the other designers present were Amisha Khanna, Meghana K and Shaheen Abbas.
• HANDS ON! Anoushka and Sapna Bhavnani
simply couldn't get their hands off each other... literally! Guess that's what happens when you meet good friends after a long time!
