Episode 1
Its 7:00am in the city of Mumbai. Everyone started to wake up and head for work. In the Nanda house, Nitya Nanda was doing the morning arti and then heahed for the kitchen to make the breakfast for the others. Nitya Nanda is the wife of Mayank Nanda who is a huge business tycoon staying abroad most of the time. He only comes to India in holidays like Diwali, Navratri etc. Their son, Kavya Nanda will soon finish college and will join the Nanda family business in Mumbai. Apart from these three, the joint Nanda family has Yash and Nandini Nanda who are the grand parents of Kavya Nanda and the parents of Mayank Nanda and ofcourse the in-laws of Nitya Nanda. Nitya was almost done making the breakfast and served some of the food on the table and saw someone was reaching for the puri's plate.
Nitya: My dear devrani Romilla, yeh aap kya kar rahi hai?
Romilla: The good morning Nitti bhabi..I was just the looking at the puris..main to baas the seeing kar rahi thi ke vo theek se bane hain ke nahi..paar..aab mujhe the satisfied hogayi ke puriyan theek hai..and the smells the wonderful (takes a puri and is about to put in her mouth)
Nitya: Oh God Romi! Wait to karo! Main jakein sab ko jagakar aati hoon..till then tum sabke glasses mein yeh orange juice dalo aur pani theek hai (hands Romilla the water jug and the orange juice and leaves)
Romilla: Its just not the fair Nitti bhabi..only one the puri!
Nitya knocks on everyone's door and tells them to freshen up and hurry downstairs for breakfast. She knocks on Kavya's room and sees the door open. Nitya goes inside and sees no one on the bed, bathroom, or even on the balcony. Nitya gets worried about her son Kavya and was thinking where could he be.
Nitya: Yeh..yeh Kavya kaha hain? Where is he (someone taps her from the back, Nitya turns around and is surprised) Kavyatum?? Beta tum kaha the? You know how worried I was about you?
Kavya: (Hugs Nitya) I am sorry mama, vo main Jai ke kamrein mein gaya tha nahane ke liye..actually mere shower se garam pani nahi nikal rahein the na..isiliye!
Nitya: To yeh baat hai..accha koi baat nahi..aab tum jao Jai ko saath lekar neeche aao..hum sab intezaar kar rahein hai beta…aur naashtein mein, I made tour favorite…PUIRS!!
Kavya: Mama really?? To main yun gaya aur Jai ko lekar yun neeche aya theek hai!
Nitya goes downstairs and sees half of the puris are missing from the plate. She looks up at Romilla and sees her eating them. Romilla sees her and quickly stuffs the whole puri in her mouth and tries to chew it.
Nitya: Oh God! Romi yeh tumne kya kiya? Aab mujhe puriyan phir se banana paregi!
Romilla: Nitti Bhabi I the explain the situation..vo kya hain ki…apke jane ke baad na the window se ek macchar kitchen mein agaye the..aur..maine dekha ke vo paanch puriyon ke upar bayeth rahein the..to maine socha ke agar yeh sab is ghar ke logo ne khaye..to phir half the Nanda parivaar the sick ho jayenge..isilye I the ate the puris to save the my in-laws. Maine theek kiya na Nitti bhabi?
Nitya: Jee haan! Bohaut theek kaam kyi aapne..aap chaliye..kitchen me chaliye aur mujhe aur puriyan banane mein mada kariye chaliye!
All the Nanda house gathers around for breakfast. The young generation included Kavya, Jai, Aryaman, Khushi and Arprita who were each other's cousins. The third generation was Nitya, Romilla, Suresh, Aditi, Hiten. The fourth generation was Yash and Nandini and the last generation was bebe. Bebe is the one who looks after this huge Nanda family. She is close to all the youngsters and always spends time with them having fun, pulling one's leg and coming up with most of the pranks. Yash tells them that they are having a party today since their new branch in Tamil Naidu is going extremely well after lauched three weeks ago. Everyone is happy and can't wait till tonight. Kavya quickly eats his breakfast and leaves for college so that he can quickly come back and help around the house for the party.
Its afternoon and everyone around the house are busy cleaning and cookikng. Nitya, Aditi, and Romilla were the cooks in the kitchen and Bebe was their leader teaching them how to make punjabi dishes. Yash was busy giving instructions to the decorater who came to defcorate their house. Nandini was the one who was cleaning the 2nd floor of the house and was vacuming all the carpets. All the servants were cleaning the rooms, the yards, the garage for car parkiong and they were washing the main gates of the Nanda House.
Everyone takes a break in the middle and sits on the family lounge, Nitya and Romilla are extremley tired. It was almost evening time, every child of the Nanda family came back except Kavya. Nitya is worried since Kavya said he will be back early today. Just then, Nitya's phone rings.
Nitya: (answering the phone) Hello..Nitya Nanda speaking
Man: Hello ma'm main Dr. Joshi bol raha hoon City Hospital se.
Nitya: Haan boliye Dr. Joshi what can I do for you?
Dr. Joshi: Jee ma'm vo actually, humne aapke bete Kavya ko yaha hospital lekar aye hain..uska car accident hogaya.
Nitya: WHAT?? (drops her cell phone) Ka...Kavya..Kavya..ka car..accident..oh god!
