I think she said that ("that there is a new man in her life and that is Yug") with a rock on her heart. Meaning, it was probably forced and she only said it to make everyone realise that she had made the final decision to move on in life. The reason I say this is because my philosophy is as follows, you can get married more then 1 time, but true love only happens once in your life. Kavya was Anjali's first and only true love that even after trying cannot be forgotten. Therefore, Yug is surely the new MAN in Anjali's life, but that does not mean that he's the new LOVE of her life.
