Kituu is newest weapon in SaharaOne's kit

Sahara One is readying another mega daily soap, promos of which have already started appearing on the channel. But the channel is keeping the Siddhant Cinevision produced show, Kituu... Sabb Jaantii Hai, and its protagonists well under wraps till its proposed launch on 14 November.

Telly Chakkar has however found out that the channel's new find, a theatre veteran of sorts, is Ami Trivedi, who has acted in several Gujarati plays (like Patro Mitro and Rishtey Natey) and has done a voice over or two, also. Kituu,like Shanno and Jassi, will be a woman centric show, we learn. Shama Deshpande, veteran of several TV shows, plays Kituu's mother, who is forever worried about her daughter. Our sources tell us that the Kituu unit is currently shooting in a bungalow in suburban Mumbai in Jogeshwari.

Says a visibly excited SaharaOne programming head Kumud Chaudhary, Kituu....is a show that's very mainstream, but the content is so designed as to take televison programming to a new level."

Producer Manish Goswami, however refused to comment on the show.
