"Seems like it is a comeback season for our tellydom actors. Last week we reported about Siddharth Shukla's embarking on his second innings with Cinevistaas' Kya yahi pyar hai and now we hear that Nupur Joshi, Shubhangi Atre and Shaleen Bhanot are all set to make a comeback with Rajshri Productions. Few weeks ago TellyChakkar reported about Rajshri Productions' upcoming show Yaha Main Ghar Ghar Kheli for Zee where in actress Suhasi Goradia has been finalised to play the lead. And now we hear that the production house has yet another show in the kitty but this time for NDTV Imagine. The show as of now is titled as Jodiyaa and will have popular actors in the lead.
Informs a source, "The show will have Ali Merchant, Shubhangi Aatre and Shaleen Bhanot in the lead. Actress Nupur Joshi who was last seen in Zee TV's Rakhi will be seen in the show. The show will mark a comeback for Shaleen Bhanot and Nupur Joshi who were nowhere to be seen after their respective shows Nach Baliye 4 and Rakhi concluded."
"The show is about a twist of fate where Shubhangi who is actually in love with Ali Merchant gets married to Shaleen Bhanot. Apparently, Nupur then enters to salvage the situation for Ali and starts liking him. The show is about the surprises destiny offers and how one of the leads gets married to someone she doesn't love and that is why the title Jodiyaa. The shoot of the show will start sometime next week and will launch sometime in September", says our source.
Both Shubhangi Aatre and Ali Merchant said that they had not even heard of such a show. Actor Shaleen Bhanot remained unavailable.
We sent a text message to producer Kavita Barjatya but she didn't revert."

"Sharad Kelkar impressed his fans during his hosting stint on Zee TV's Rock and Roll Family which was judged by Bollywood actors Kajol, Ajay Devgan and Tanuja. And now the actor is back once again as a host. According to sources, Sharad will host NDTV Imagine's Pati Patni aur Woh. The show is an adaptation of the international show The Baby Borrowers where celebrity couples have to take care of children of different age-groups. The celebrity couples have to take care of infants, toddlers and teenagers.
Informs a source, "Initially one wasn't sure if the show really required a host but later we finalised on Sharad Kelkar. He will be hosting the show alone. The crew is leaving for Goa tomorrow and the show will run for a span of one month."
"The show involves tasks where the surrogate parents (celebrity couples) will go out to earn a living for their babies. There will be no evictions in the show and it is the parents of the babies who will vote for their favourite celeb couple. There is a specific 'Do not carry list' which has been distributed to the contestants wherein they have been strictly informed not to carry any baby toys or baby paraphernalia to woo the babies. This will be given by the channel to the contestants. Interestingly, the contestants will have to undergo a swine flu test so that the babies do not contract the disease", adds our source.
The show will kick start sometime in September and will have newly weds Juhi Parmar – Sachin Shroff, Rakhi Sawant – Elesh, Gurmeet Chaudhary – Debina Bonnerjee, Shilpa Saklani – Apoorva Agnihotri and Mouni Roy – Gaurav Chopra."

After spreading love on Kitni Mohabbat hai, Hiten Tejwani is all set to board Sony's Palampur Express.
Though Hiten is still known as Karan of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi he is now being recognised for his various other roles.
A source discloses, "As Palampur Express is having a tough time in the 8.30 pm. slot the production house is trying its best to attract audiences with new talent on the show. Now well known actor Hiten Tejwani has been roped in to help ramp up the ratings. Though his character is being kept under wraps, he will soon be seen in the show."
Further the source adds, "He will be seen playing a pivotal role in the show. He will come as a stranger in the show and will help Pooja Kanwal aka Paavni to reach her aim."
We contacted Hiten and he confirmed, "Yes, I am doing the show and people will see a different me. I am going to play a very important and unforgettable character in the show, but at this point I am unable to speak anything more about my character."
Hope Hiten's entry speeds up Palampur Express.
