Anuji my eyes are tearing up seeing all those teary-eyed faces. FOR ONCE…perhaps the only time the crying faces seem to overpower the ROFLs! LOL. You know what I loved especially is the way you so easily allude to older episodes and events. I mean especially the little kid instance, it didn't cross my mind when I watched it, but it really made my heart melt when I read your association. It's truly commendable!
And P.S. did you know you're a sweetheart?
And I totally agree with:
" Since Arohi is alive in the present, it can't be death. That leaves jail."
Who told u that .... .... I know I know u will say....he said she is in the duniya and all heheh...but buddy ...the story seemed to have changed a lot lately...so dont get sad wad if Arohi dies.... ...
Manna: Yeahhh…like I'm actually curious to know the extent to which the story has changed…and I'm especially curious to know if the blind track even ever existed in their books…was it just our perception (popular word lol)
Coming to the episode…as soon as I saw Arjun running around I pulled my laptop close to myself and I wanted to bundle up. The whole sequence was so heart-wrenching. I felt such a heavy weight on my heart. Seeing Arjun run around like kid, as Anu said, becoming a person in stark contrast to his previous personality was so touching.
Throughout the sequence I was waiting for Arohi to look up into his eyes and say something like how his eyes reminded her of someone special. The first time I watched the part I was disappointed that it didn't happen. But when I was watching it again, I realized that Arjun really didn't give her an opportunity to look into his eyes. Even the time when she was talking to him by directly looking at him, he would lower his eyes every other moment. So Arohi just didn't get a good look at him. So Ria…I agree it's the same hands, voice, eyes…but Arjun didn't give her much of an opportunity to feel his presence.
And I totally agree Anjana. She wasn't expecting to see him. You see what you want/expect to see. Just happened to me last night…my friend said that the last to day to finish the app was June 15th…I was like let me check and so I saw June 15th, and I was so stressed out. But later that night while speaking to another friend, she was like it's July 15th and I was like nooooo I checked twice in the afternoon. I checked the same page again…and it was July 15th. LOL. So u see what you want/expect. Arohi didn't expect Arjun in the attire and so even an assumption would've been ridiculous.
The money giving scenario was truly touching. After a while I saw generosity/humanism rise above desperation. Arohi is basically in those Survivor type situations since she was fighting for the basic human needs…food, shelter, protection, etc. Now she has all the she needs for basic survival. Yet most people would feel the greed to keep anything that comes their way, but the fact that Arohi not only feels the need to give but ACTUALLY gives, truly speaks volumes for her character.
I was just shocked that Arjun accepted the money. But I think that was more because he didn't want to argue and make Arohi realize that it was in fact him.
Though I felt the sadness throughout the scene, my tears started to fall when Arohi turned around and was saying bye. This was the first time in so many days that Arohi smiled at Arjun and appreciated him. It was just heart-wrenching.
After this whole sequence, one thing was shown very clearly. Arohi will love the person Arjun is now. It is the baggage that Arjun Punj's face carries that she hates or despises. But if his identity is not revealed, her heart appreciates his actions, which truly re-establishes her love for Arjun and ensures that she will love the new AP.
