"Turning a boy into a Man is a Man's job. Since the beginning of time, its been a Father's job to make his Son responsible. Kind, Courageous, Honorable.
A young boy doesn't come with instructions. He just comes with boundless Love and an Adventurous Spirit. But the journey to manhood begins very early....the first time he looks up at his Dad & thinks, "I wanna be like Him"

Yesterday we complained that the episode was UC.....and today, it was so full of content that it blew me away....
Another Love broke...we may not hear the sound of it shattering yet, but it Broke all right.....and am not talking about the Arjun-Arohi relationship...no, that WILL break, but will be repaired soon, at least from Arjun's side......the Love am talking about is the one between the Father and his Son....this is what I had feared, had dreaded..had hoped against hope that it won't happen...but it did; DK disappointed Arjun, and broke his own image in his Son's eyes....oh sure, Arjun dosen't know yet....but what do you think is gonna happen when he finds out the truth?? Its going to shatter him, his soul...the level of his pain will exceed ANYTHING he has felt so far, be it his Mom walking out on him, or Arohi's supposed betrayal....His World will crash, and the mindnumbing anguish will RIP through him, never to be sown back together again...
Arjun's Dad is his world..the one person Arjun TRUSTS....Arjun had asked Arohi to trust him...but he never trusted her; he relyed on her, no doubt, but Trust is a word for Arjun that's synonomous for "Dad"...its so obvious when he comes running back home on finding out the truth...like a small child whose candy has been stolen from him by Bullies....He's desperate, and in need of support..and then finds himself facing the One Man who has been there for him throughout his Life, his Father. And so, Arjun wastes no time in telling DK about everything that has happened, , Purvi's widowed status, his Love for Arohi, and her Badi Ma being HIS Mom, etc. By doing this, the Creatives shocked me, ARJUN is ready to give his Love a hear-out first, he's ready to accept the fact that there COULD be a misunderstanding, that there COULD be a piece missing from this jig-saw puzzle..and so asks DK, PLEADS him to say that Arohi could be innocent, that she was NOT toying around with him..she really does Love him....Arjun's expressions when he says that...it brought tears to my eyes....
And then comes the final nail in the coffin, not for the Arjuhi Love...but for DK's own for his Son, when he tells him that Savita planted Arohi in Arjun's life for property/money/revenge.....It breaks Arjun, but how can he NOT blindly trust his Dad?? The Man who single-handedly raised him and the one who always caught him when he fell...and that for Arjun is enough...he needs no further clarification, no more talks with Arohi to clear the MU and nobody else's opinion...his Dad's word is the final word to verify the belief that Arohi used him...but the conflicting looks on his face, and the fluidity with which he changes the expressions in his eyes...from "This is true then", to "Is it really true??'', to "Yes, Dad said its true", to "Is there NO other explanation??"...the confusions of the character have been potrayed BRILLIANTLY by KK...*Aakriti gives a standing ovation* and the final resolve solidifying in his troubled eyes was like Ice...it personified the scream that was probably echoing inside Arjun, which at his Dad's remark culminated into deafening silence......
But like Anjana says, Love has its own way to take revenge...the Love that DK shattered today, that innocent, budding Love between Two hearts that were yet untainted and untarnished from the cruelities of the World, would ultimately lead to the destuction of the one relationship that had pulled him (DK) through the ups & downs of Life..little does he know that he just lost his Son Forever...
And so the duo leave to ruin the Wedding, which in itself was destined to be doomed....
The rest of the episode was more of a filler, Salil's comedy with the shoes was watchable..the Panjit Ji was the coolest Pandit Ji i've ever seen....
Purvi's response to Salil is starting to move me again...and I like the transformation..from awkward, to comfortable, to the friendship that is blossoming into Love from Purvi's part has been beautifully captured...Pooja's acting is commendable!!!!
Arohi's dreamy look is setting the mood for the ultimate heartbreak tomorrow, that will be carried over to Monday....but I prefer not to think about it until I actually see it...
P.S. DK, MM and Paddy AMAZE me.....God should at least CHECK before he hands over the "Parents" certificate to people..but the loss of the DK-Arjun relationship saddened me more than the anger I felt at their sliminess.....
