Part 9

He was just about to walk down the stairs of the office when he stopped seeing her. No one other than arohi...she was wearing a baby pink anarkali suit with white dupatta and silver and pink beaded jhumkas which swinged from left to right as she walked up the stairs looking down. To him she looked like a beautiful pink lilly, she made him want to stop time just to cherish the rays of beauty she let off into his eyes.

As she reached the top she bumped into him spreading a strong but pleasing scent of cologne over her. Before she could look up to see if it was who she thought it was, she lost her balance and fell slightly back, but just in enough time for arjun to grab her hand and pull her to him. There scents mixed together just like their heart beats dhadak dhadak sounds met and raised with each other.

Arohi looked up, feeling shocked how close she was to him she took a step back but just as she lost her balance due to the stairs was pulled back from his strong grip into the same position. 'Agar yeh position mein paach aur minute rehna hota phir bhi reh leta' he thought staring at her innocent face who's eyes were shut tight.

akhein khol, kya kar rahi hai? She debated with herself finally opening her eyes.

Arohi: chodo mujhe! Arohi opened her eyes and ssid harshly getting glimpses of last night.

Arjun: agar maine tumhe choda toh tum gir jaogi! He said as he took a sudden step back pulling her away from the edge along with his body.

Arohi: agar gir jaati toh tumhare nasdeek hone se acha hi hota! Arohi replied with a equally irritated tone.

Arjun: Really now? Arjun came close to Arohi's ear. Agar main chahoon na toh I could still make you hypnotized just from one...just one kiss! He whispered in her ear giving her the chills from her nervous state. Arohi composed herself and quickly backed away but still was fairly close to him due to the edge of the stairs. She pointed her long dainty finger at his face you're just a man looking for girls for this very purpose!...ladkiyon ko apne bas main karna toh tumhara shok hai!'

Arjun: Chalo shukr hai ki tumne mana toh sahi ki tum mere bas main ho' he smiled.

Arohi: that's it mr.singhania I've had enough! She pushed him aside stomping away. Before she could be out of his reach he called after her..'But I haven't had enough of you'.

Arohi: 'agar koi bhi ladki tumhe galti se bhi pyaar karrein...toh wo uss ladki ki sabse badi galti hogi! Tum kisi bhi ladki ke pyaar ke laayak bhi nai ho! I pray for that girl I really do' she turned around to him crossing her arms and quickly turned to the other direction seeing his raging eyes. Before she could scurry away Arjun sped up to her, walking with twice the size of her steps.

Arjun: You better take those words back! He spun her around,tightly grasping both her arms.

Arohi: Never! Arohi said in half confidence regretting her words. Just don't look into his eyes? She spoke to herself. Arjun hearing her whisper pulled her in the nearby cabin he found and with one hand held her arm in his grip and with the other shut the door behind them.

Arohi:dekho mujhe aur bhi kaam...

Arjun kept walking closer to each step she took back until she hit something sharp on her leg. In a second she was on the floor in pain.

Arohi: aaah!...arjun reached his hand out to her...Arohi! He said kneeling down to her right after.

Arohi: Arjun! Bohut dard ho raha hai! I think it's beeding she practically screamed

Arjun: please calm down! Ek minute...he took hold of her leg lifting up her anarkali dress leggings. Seeing the small but red with blood cut he grabbed a tissue from the glass coffee table which seemed like the same object arohi bumped into and carefully wiped the blood. He looked up at her face ready to yell at her for her carelessness but melted seeing her tear roll down her face which led to many more after.

Arjun: hey sshhh! He grabbed a few more tissues handing them to her to grab..making arohi sob a little less. Before Arohi could get a chance to stop him, he lifted her into his arms as if she was delicate rose petal.

Arohi: Arjun...what are you doing? She wrapped her arms around his neck for support.

He set her on the sofa...'wait here main first aid kit lata hoon...aur please rona band karo..i'll be alright' he didn't say this in anger but in helplessness... he couldn't bare her tears.

Arohi: Nai..iss ki koi zaroor nai hai! Iss bahane tum mujhe choonoge...aur mujhe tumhare gande haath nai chahiye meri body pe!' she tried rolling down her legging but couldn't completely because of the cut letting out more blood.

Arjun: Have you gone mad? He grabbed her wrist looking at her in astonishment.

Arohi: Don't touch me! You pervert!! She yelled making him let go of her wrist. but in anger Instead he grabbed the back of her neck. Don't you dare call me that again! Don't you dare deny the fact that every touch of mine doesnt raise your heart beats...because if they didn't then you wouldn't react the way you're going too' for a second arohi saw his eyes fill with burning passion...expecting his lips on hers she closed her eyes. Arjun was an inch away from her lips when he opened his eyes realizing the mistake he could have made. His gaze lifted from her closed eyelids to her soft, baby pink lips. How much he wanted to feel them on his, he could tell she wanted to do the same from the chill bumps which ran up the soft skin on her arms all the way up her neck. He gave her one last stare and rushed out the door in frustration.

Arohi opened her eyes hearing the loud bang of the cabin door... why do I react this way around him even after everything I saw last night? main kyun isske peeche keeche jaa rahin hoon?'

Arjun walked out of his cabin raking his hand through his head even though he never due to his gelled spikes. He skipped two steps at a time down the steps but stopped in his pace seeing everyone's eyes on his including the peons. Everyone giving questioning gazes... kya hai? Tum logo ko aur bhi kaam nai hai kya!?...just get the hell back to work!' he roared making everybody shake. Arjun Singhania was a strict boss, but this type of anger he was showing since the past two days no one ever saw.

Arjun: raaju! He said loudly making the old scared peon come at his service. 'first aid box leke aao abhi!' but just then he heard arohi's foot steps behind him

Arohi: ruk jao! Main theek hoon...jaa rahin hoon main...aur haan apne boss ko kahiyega aap unse bade hai aap ki bhi koi izaat hai, uski marzi har baar nai chalegi' she tried not to limp past him but he could see that the wound was giving her pain as she held her right thigh in each step.

Arjun: Please don't do this! He wanted to say to her but couldnt because of the thin line his lips were zipped into. So many feelings were driving him crazy in these past two days; he knew there was nothing he could regret. So just like the full of love image he didn't want to present in front of everybody, he sped walked to arohi lifting her off her feet and set her on the chair someone got for her. Arjun could easily tell what the employees were thinking about but ignored all their full of awe expressions and bandaged her wound from the first aid box that was at his service in less than a minute. She nor he said anything in the process...but had no choice to stay quiet in front of everyone. After arohi's leg was taken care of, the peon helped arohi into a car which arjuns driver was told to drop her home from. No one knew the real truth behind all of this because they were blinded by the so called "love" they saw between the two.

Arjun: Only if they knew...Only if you knew! Chot tumne khayi hai par zehr maine piya hai!'
