Part: 48

Evening comes gradually over the hills with fog & cold wind, Arjun

is strolling in his room, he constantly trying to contact with Arohi

but Arohi is not receiving his calls.

"Arohi ko ek baar mere kamre mei bhejo . . ."--- Arjun calls a

employee & orders him,

"Lekin sir . . . Arohi mam toh bahar gayi hai . . . aur abhi tak

ayi nahi . . ."--- he replies,

"Kaha gayi hai . . . kuch batake gayi hai . . .?"--- Arjun's voice

seems worried, he became more tensed;

"nahi sir . . . mam toh kuch batake nahi gayi . . ."--- the

employee says,

"Ok. . ."--- Arjun hung up the call.

Arjun's mind again & again recollected what was Sameer told him,

Arjun don't know where is Arohi, his room becomes dark for

insufficient light, Arjun looks at outside, the black clouds are

covers the sky, the rain may starts at any time, Arjun comes out

of his room,

"Sir . . . ap ghar nahi jayenge . . .??"--- One employee asks,

"Haan . . . thoda kaam baki hai . . . khatam karke jayunga . .

."--- he replies, but his eyes were waiting for Arohi,

"Sir . . . apko ghar chale jana chahiye . . .mausam bahot kharab

hai . . ."--- another employees replies , they are prepare for

going ,

"Tum log chale jao . . ."--- Arjun says & smiles, they left. Arjun

looks at their return path , he feels so lonely standing in the

dark, Arohi is not there, he realize that without Arohi how much

lonely he is. Arjun close all the gates tightly.

Sitting in the car he is still waiting for Arohi, but his all hope

going in vain, the rain starts already, Arjun could not enjoy this

weather, and he starts his car. After he left just then Arohi

enters, she was shocked to see the office in dark, she tries to

open the door, the watchmen come outside to hear some sound,

"Ye lock kisne kiya . . . aur office itna andhere mei kyun hai

'??"--- Arohi ask in a anxious voice,

"Sab log toh chale gaye . . ."--- he replies in a surprising tone,

"Arjun. . ."--- she can't complete her words, because she was

confident that Arjun can't go home without saying her sorry, but

if her faith becomes false; this fear can't allow her to complete

what she wants to say ,

"Arjun saab bhi chale gaye . . ."--- watchmen says in a

indifferent tone.

Arohi can't look at his eyes, she can't believe in her ears,

"Bina mujhse mile wo chale gaye . . ."--- she murmured standing

completely drenched in-front of that darkness.

Arjun reached his home, entering in his room Arjun opens the

window, he enjoying the cold wind, this darkness , the sound of

rain, everything reminding him of Arohi. Suddenly his phone starts

to ring, Arjun receive the call,

"Arohi wo choti si baat ke liye itna gussa kiya ki pure din mujhe

ek call nahi kar paye, aur mera ek bhi call receive nahi kiya . . .

mei tumhare liye kitni der tak wait kiya . . lekin tum ayi nahi '

kaha gayi thi tum aur wo bhi mujhe bina bataye . . ."--- Arjun

saying all this ,

"A-R-J-U-N. . .it's me. . .Saloni . . . ye kya ho gaya hai

tumhe?

Lagta hai us Arohi se bahot pyaar karne lage ho . . ."--- she

giggles'

Hearing Saloni's voice instead of Arohi he feels a sudden jerk,

"Saloni . . .tum . . ."--- Arjun close the window & turns on the

light.

"khush nahi hue na. . . as expected. . . kaise khush hoge. . ."--

- she says.

"Saloni tumhe kuch kaam hai mei bahot tired hu . . . agar tumne

time-pass karne ke liye call kiya toh. . ."---Saloni compels him

to stop saying,

"Mere pass itna waqt nahi hai Arjun ki mei tumhe time-pass ke

liye call karu. . .waise tum aaj Sameer se mile the na . . ."---

she asks,

"Dekho tum dono ne ye jo plan kar rahe ho na ye kabhi kamiyaab

nahi hoga . . . Arohi ko kabhi bhi kuch pata nahi chalega . . ."---

Arjun says in a high-pitch.

"aaj subah Arohi mujhse milne ayi thi . . ."--- She says in a cold

tone.

"Tumse milne? Kyun?"--- He was shocked.

" kyun ki hum dono ab dost hai . . ."--- she replies.

"Saloni dekho . . ."

"Arjun I'm very tired now . . . so hum kaal baat karte hai . . .

good night . . ."--- she cut the call.

Arjun threw the phone on bed in anger. But at the same time he

became restless to see Arohi for just once; many questions

rumbling in his brain, why Arohi was gone to visit with Saloni . . .

how were they became friends. . . Arjun lie down in the bed &

close his eyes.

"Ding . . . dong. . ."

Gouri was sitting in the terrace, the rain was now terminated,

she was thinking about Sameer, don't know why she could not

believe him completely, Sameer come Barot for his own interests .

. . they are together now only for Arjun-Arohi, Gouri don't like

Sameer too much, he is a selfish man, but still why she feels

jealous when she see him with Saloni or any other girl. Gouri

comes & opens the door, Arohi is standing there completely

drenched. Without saying anything she leave for her room, Gouri

close the door but again door-bell cries, she open it, startled to

see Sameer there,

"Hi. . ."--- Sameer says & enters.

"Tum dono saath saath aye. . ."--- Gouri asks,

"Hum dono matlab. . .?"--- Sameer says removing his shoes.

"matlab tum aur Arohi. . ."--- Gouri's voice sounded strange in

her own ears,

"Kya ho gaya hai tumhe . . . hum dono saath saath kyun ayenge .

. . aur agar aa bhi gaye toh tumhe kya problem hai . . ."---

Sameer says in a irritating tone.

"kuch bhi nahi. . ."--- she replies & leave for kitchen.

In the night after dinner Arohi is still sitting in the balcony,

Arjun didn't call her; Arohi was thinking is she doing a wrong to

believing in Arjun . . . why is he ignoring her . . . in the morning

why he did misbehave to her . . . what was his personal talk with

Sameer . . . & the most important thing it seems that Arjun is

trying very hard to hide something for her . . . so many question

but she has not a single answer . . . suddenly she hears a knock

on the door, Arohi gradually comes close to it . . .she was not

sure if she should open it or not . . . she knows that it was Gouri

. . . but if she started asking her questions about Arjun what will

she say . . . because she has no answer today . . .at last . . .

she opens the door & can't believe in her own eyes. . . "Arjun"--

- she uttered in a surprised tone . . .!!
