Chapter 4

Arohi slowly pushed the door open nervously and slowly drifted her ayes from Ajay to Arjun.Her eyes came out of her sockets when she saw Arjun.The files fell from her hand in shock.Arjun was in the same state when he saw her and both said at the same time "YOU?????"

Arohi couldn't believe who was in front of her eyes..This couldn't be him.It couldn't be what she was seeing.He could not be the owner of this wonderfull school.This mad person just couldn't be the one who ran the school.But she had an unknown desire fulfilled in her heart.Since the day she had seen him,since the day she had shared a kiss with him she had knowingly or unknowingly had an urge to meet him once again.But now when he was in front of her she wanted to hold his collars and call out out all the gaali's she knew to him and if possible kill him at the first possible chance.But how could she even think of it now.She was now a teacher of a school that too a school which was run by him..If she did or say anything against him he could just fire her out of the school and anyone else would be hired in her place,and she didn't want to loose this job of her's at any cost..She decided to face him with a fake smile.The expression with which she had said "You" now instantly changed.She first looked at Ajay who was standing there totally confused seeing why both of them reacted in that manner when they saw each other as if they were going to strangle each other.Arohi then faced Arjun and gave an innocent smile.He was wearing a white shirt neatly tucked.He had been wearing a black blazer too which was now kept neatly folded on the table.He might have worn it to give himself a all too professional look on his face,she thought!!!She wondered whether he looked better with or without the blazer on,but quickly closed her all too thinking mind and saying to herself "Shut ur thoughts Arohi.You have to think of ways to stay here,not ways how to get out of here!!!!!"

Ajay broke the silence that suddenly was prevailing in the air and said "Hmm..You guys noe each other from before??" Arohi wanted to shout YES but she didn't want to embarase herself in front of others.She was unaware of the fact that Ajay was Arjun's closest friend and Ajay already knew about the incident apart from the fact that the girl whom Arjun had kissed was the very girl Ajay had selected for the teacher's post..Arohi said "Yes,No.I don't know him.Now how can I know him(yea how can u know the guy who kissed you in the middle of a road,).He is such a reputed person."Arohi said giving a big smile to Arjun.

Arjun was quiet throughout as he was left bewildered as to what was happeneing in front of him so quickly!!!!!!!!!1^st Ajay telling that he selected a teacher,then the teacher turning out to be the very girl who had driven out his sleep since one month,she shouting out "YOU" to him as if if she was given a knife would stab him that very moment and to add it to all her expression's suddenly changing from anger to an innocent smile and then out of no where she was suddenly praising him???

He couldn't accept the fact that she had come for the interview fully prepared,"Atleast by the looks" he added.She was professionally dressed and he could figure it out very well that she had tried all her best to come out with a teacher look on her face!!!!His gaze fell on her lips,the lips which he had tasted and suddenly he had the urge to go grab her and kiss her again.A hot passionate kiss was what he meant which wouldn't end before both of them needed some air to breathe.

Arjun came back from his thoughts when he heard Ajay murmuring something to himself..Turning towards Ajay he said "Oh I am so sorry was thinking about some important work of my office."(what important work only he knew)'.

Ajay answered saying "Ok fine you can do all the other work after you let her go.Take out the paper's she needs to sign,She will sign and then she will be off to take her first class today itself.You can start today itself right?"Ajay asked turning towards Arohi "Ya offcourse."she said with a big smile.She just wanted to sign the papers as soon as possible and leave the room'"Papers??Oh yea sure.Wait I hav to look for it.Have been so busy that I forgot where I kept it."Arjun said acting as if he was looking for the papers."Forgot???how could you forget it Arjun?You knew that today was the interview and we needed the paper's today itself."Ajay said with a tone filled with anger. Oh god how was Arjun going to make Ajay understand that he wanted to talk to her alone and say sorry.He had thought of lying and said that he had forgot where he had kept the papers and later on when he would be alone in his room he could call her to sign the papers and even ask her forgiveness in the pretext'.Finally Arjun said "Ok Ajay there is no need to be angry.I have the papers in this room itself,Just need to search for it.You take her to the class.I will find the papers by the time you will be back" Arjun said giving a reassuring smile first to Ajay and then Arohi. Finally when Ajay was convinced he decided to take Arohi to her class.But before leaving Arjun asked Ajay to meet him after that.

Arohi was very nervous now.Her day had Started very well with her getting the job but the after-effects of getting that job was something she was not able to handle.She wanted to call Shefali and tell her everything what had happened,right from telling that she had got a job to who was there in the room,who the hell had turned up to be the owner of the school.She came back from her thoughts as she crossed the first class which she noticed to be empty. Even the next class which she came across was empty."Why are the classes empty?"she asked Ajay."Oh god I totally forgot.What's the time?"Ajay asked."It's 12.05 now"Arohi said looking at her watch."Oops I completely lost track of the time.Our school gets over at 11.30 itself.Because of the interview I didn't notice what the time was.So you turned out to be lucky,didn't have to teach today.So no problem.I will show u the teacher's staffroom.You can go and adjust youself to the place"Arohi was relieved when she heard that she wouldn't have to take the class today.She wanted to get prepared before she took the first class.Moreover she was happy to hear that she could go back to her home after 11.30.Ajay led her to the furthest corner of the first floor of the school.She couldd see the board that clearly read on top of the room "Staff Room".Before entering the staff room Ajay said "You proceed.I have to go meet Arjun.Ya forgot to tell you one thing.The school get's over at 11.30 doesn't mean that even u can leave so quickly.The teacher's have to stay here till 4 in the evening.That's the rule.Ok now bye"Ajay said and left before hearing Arohi's answer.Arohi's jaw opened when she came to know that she had to stay there till 4.

Arohi entered the room which seemed to be quite huge to her.the walls of the room was painted cream and there was a huge clock hung high up in the wall so that people entering the room itself colud check out the time instantly.She found around 8-9 teachers sitting there and gossiping.One thing she noticed at the very beginning was that all the teachers were ladies and all were young.She was pleased.She wouldn't get bored there and she would be having more friends there apart from Shefali.As she entered the room all the eyes inside the room shifted their gaze towards Arohi.Arohi decided to introduce herself to everyone out there and got busy.

Ajay entered Arjun's office and asked "Found the papers???And why did you call me now??"Arjun got up from his seat went and closed the road and turned towards Ajay "Are you mad???????"Ajay stood there confused and said "Why?? What did I do??" Arjun "What did you do??First of all you appoint that girl and then when I was pretending that I couldn't find the papers u started shouting at me?????" Ajay still couldn't get what Arjun was saying "What's the problem with that girl??"

"The girl doesn't have any problem.But I and the girl might have a huge problem together."Arjun answered."You knew her from before??I guessed it the way you both reacted when u both saw each other early today.But how do you know her??Ajay asked to which Arjun answered "Idiot she is the girl I had met in the mall." Ajay stood rooted to his position when he heard it "The girl Arjun had met in the mall??That means she was the girl Arjun had kissed."You mean she was the girl????Ajay asked still not believing it "Yes she is the girl and I didn't give her the papers because I wanted to tell her sorry and thought the time she would come for signing the papers would be the best.Now please send the guard and call her for signing the papers and you get out of this room.I will handle it alone."Arjun said to which Ajay gave a little laugh and said "Ya I noe how well you handled it the last day when u went to tell her sorry."Arjun gave him an angry glare and Ajay understood that it was time for him to leave the room.

The guard had come and asked Arohi to go to Arjun's office.She knew it was to sign the papers.She knocked the door and entered when she heard the same husky voice as before say "Come In".She had not even thought in her wildest dream's that only Arjun would be there in the room.She had been expecting Ajay too in the room.Butterflies started running her whole spine when she realized that she was alone in the room with him and incidents of that day came to her mind!!!!

"Hi Arohi"Arjun said with a nervous tone.She just gave a small smile to him'He stood up with the papers and said "Here are the papers you need to sign and forwarded the papers to her to take it.She moved ahead and took the papers from him making sure that she wouldn't touch him even for a millisecond. She took out her pen,kept the papers on the table and was about to sign it when he said "Am extremely sorry for that day.It wont happen again.Thats a promise.And I mean it!!!!!!"Arohi turned towards him when she heard him say that.

"I know I shouldn't have done it."Arjun said completing his sentence.Arohi this time didn't open her mouth as she knew very well what had happened the last time she had opened her mouth.But him telling her sorry for that somehow felt genuine to her this time.His eyes reflected the honesty with which he was speaking."Obviously he meant it Arohi or else would any owner of a school come and tell sorry to someone who worked under him?And his eyes too are showing that he means what he is saying and he is not not saying it just for the sake of saying it."Arohi's heart told her."But even last day when he had come to say sorry he did something more and it never felt that he actually wanted to say sorry."Arohi's mind said.She was confused with the fight that was happening between her heart and mind.She didn't know which way to follow."Can you forgive me?"Arjun asked which brought her back.Arohi could see almost a pleading Arjun in front of her andd she decided to follow gher heart instantly.She smiled and said "Yes." Arjun's smile widened and he asked seriously "You forgive me??That means we are friends from now!!" Arohi said "Now when did I say that we have become friends??And.."She couldn't complete her sentence when Arjun said with folded arms across his chest "So you always have a habit of fighting huh?Even last time you had started a fight for no reason."Arohi was shocked "No reason??You called me a mom and you say that is not a reason??You kissed me and you think that is not a reason??"And then she suddenly went quiet when she realized what she had said and she found her face turning pink.Stop it Arohi she said to herself.

"You are such a fighter-cock.Ok fine I am sorry.Dont start fighting again with meNow you say what you want and I will give you that.Dont say no or else I will think that you hav not forgiven me till now."Arjun said to Arohi. "Anything?"Arohi asked happily suddenly forgetting her nervousness to which Arjun answered Yes. "Ice-cream and chocolates"Arohi said with a childish excitement.."And yea I even want to sit in the giant wheel .My mom has never allowed me to sit there so now as she is not here with me I want to try it out" Arohi said with her excitement rising every second in her voice. "What?Have you gone mad??You want ice-cream,chocolates and sit in the giant wheel??You just have been posted as a teacher to small children and you yourself are behaving like a four year old."Arjun said.Arohi answered innocently "Yea I am a teacher now but what is there to do this with it??And you had told me that you will give me whatever I wanted."

"Ok ok I will give you all what you want.Lets go."Arjun said smiling seeing her childish behaviour. He pulled her hands and dragged her out of the office.Arohi was a little too taken aback when Arjun took hold of her hands and unknowingly a blush appeared on her face.She followed him thinking about ice-creams and chocolates and moreover her dream of sitting in the giant wheel would also get fulfilled today finally.😛
