If Ria's posts were songs of praise, mine began and ended in utter crap. Did Ria kick me out or send a PM saying, "An, can you please stop posting in my thread because you do not have a good word to say about the episodes that I so much love." It never happened -- she gave space to my views in her thread without ever complaining.

--Ria and all wer so friendly they welcomed me as a newcomer and always encouraged me to post whilst i was jst a silent reader..

One Sunday, Anu, Lata and I were yapping in Ria's thread and the next day, Ria's thread became Ria ka Adda (RKA). It became our adda where we talked about the episode, characters, story-lines as well as enjoyed each others company. Over the next five months, the thread evolved and many new posters started posting while some of the old ones disappeared without any trace. I doubt if Lata remembers about Adda or me. The views on the episodes always varied but were respected by everyone.

--yeah.. i remember reading some of Lata's posts.. bt never had the privilege of knowing her.. there wer so many such early Addians.. i remember Mira too.. they were grt writers.. and yapping was fun.. my whole time at adda was spent reading and enjoying others' posts..

The phenomena called RKA did not happen one day but it happened gradually and it was a highly popular thread because of the addains and their posts. The show acted as a catalyst that triggered creative and philosophical reactions. Posters were the real stars but when the show ended, we all dispersed. I may call the show Utter Crap but it was a glue that held us together for months.

--So true An.. i really miss those days.. 😍

P.S: I may not post on the episode because Ekta and her large family shows scare me and I maintain my respectful distance. Even the lure of chavvanis cannot make me watch utter crap again.
