Okay guys here is what I have gathered up. If you think about it KDMHMD is based on the story line of kabhi khushi kabhi gham.
think about it prem is not the real son just like sharukh wasn't
the mom and dads photo is the same as in kabhi khushi kabhi gham.
prem just like sharukhh goes for the girl he loves while his dad doesn't approve.
the younger brother hrithik just like prems brother preet is trying to reunite the family.
there was an old lady that died in kabhi khushi khabi gham and that brought the family together, the old lady that is with the family, sorry i have just recently started watching this show and i don't know who she is but i think based on these clues she is the one that is going to die.
