Why Isn't Someone Saying Someting?

This is my first post on this forum and I was just wondering why Heer or Meher aren't telling Prem who they really are. Have the creatives just conveniently forgotten about that angle of the story???? or is there something else at work??? because surely, Heer by knows that DJ can't be trusted in what she says or does but never mind that, the fact that Prem gave up everything for her should make her want to tell him the truth.

Does anyone else share the same frustration?
