I really wasnt planning to watch this show after the last week fiasco but after reading what raksha di told me thought I should give it one more chance....di the bad news just keeps coming....Waht a depressing show...a little ray of hope and then it went away like it never was........Everyone was sad and so was I coz i was missing my parents....and then this show...even more sad...

Hey hey cheer up girl, minus Lallu I think the show is going great, everybody seem very positive, and by everybody I mean people from Prem's side of the family, look at Preet or Kulraj di or gayatri mom, and look at Meher, they are like a silver shining lightning for us and for Prem and Heer. and gayatri mom may not say a lot but the cold shoulder she is giving Lallu speaks volume..

I know last week they ended the show on a sad note almost breaking Prem's heart, and ours too, but he loves his dad immensely and I think thats a very posistive thing to show, especially for Prem... and he has just been kicked out by his dad, so he couldn't have happily reached his house, though it was extremely heart breaking, but with every time his dad spurns him, there is a little more realisation of just how much his dad hates him..

NOW THE HAPPY AND SAD PART

Heer poor heer is contemplating what to say and prem and here prem is climbing stairs and puts two and two togehter that heer must have bought that suit at the awards and then he sees here...here poor poor heer confess her love to prem(so much for when will heer confess, i would have wished she rather didnt) and asks prem to marry her.............but he REFUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! he says he is not sure how he will take care of her as he doesnt work(prem!!! my darling boy!!! havent you been looking for work????i am sure you will find it please marry heer or else that RR will) and he doesnt know what he wants from life how he can keep her happy and such dribble........honestly this show is really losing its point for me...i love heer and prem but comeon.......this is tooooooooo much....first heer used to cry now prem does that, first heer was unsure now prem is, first prem used to hold hands now its heer's job, first prem used to say the words now he cries and heer recites.........

I think Prem knows and so does heer that they are meant for each other, and right now he is just furious with her for working without letting him know, so she has kind of broken his trust and so its completely justified in his reaction, they have shown Prem to be completely passionate about everything he does, his work, his parents, his love for Heer and wouldn't it strike you as odd that he just found out that Heer is working (and is hurt, because in a way he thinks that she thinks he is incapable of earning, so she is, if she had told him that she was working, he would have understood that she is trying to help him make a living, but she did not tell him and thats the most important thing, and we all know that eventually he is gonna come around, for now its just anger that resulted in this conversation...

if ash has really turned positive, (though I still don't think so, and I think behind the scenes its still something that she and DJ have planned together, cause I still don't understand why she hasn't told Preet that she is really their cousin), anyway if for a moment I think she has turned positive, then I think she truly beileves that Heer and Prem were meant for each other and we know and have known for almost forveer that she really never loved Prem, but Preet so I think her action was justified, she was doing everything because of Dj, and if she is still negative (which I strongly believe), then she is doing the act superbly, she is leaving no stone unturned to make Preet believe that she loves him, and that she is sooooooooooo over Prem.

I think that Heer will take Prem back to Lallu, but the BIG question really is what will prem so, will he just leave her and go back to his dad, after he has supported her all along, I don't think so, so I think its great that this is happening in front of Prem and not behind his back... I think no matter what he will stand by the one he loves... and I think Heer had to do that, and the good thing is that by proposing marriage she has proved to Prem that she loves him.. so it will be evn more difficult for him to leave her, it would have been worse if she had not declared her love for him, and asked him to go back, because then Prem wouldn't know that Heer loves him, and she is sacrificing her love (which he will not allow..)

and also would you want Heer and Prem to get married without his father's consent, it really is important for them to get him to agree, else neither would be happy.. Prem would have the love of his life but without parents??? You started this post with 'I am missing my parents', so you would understand Prem's love for his dad and what he would do for him, but at the same time, his feelings for Heer are running high, so he won't let her go too ! So he is standing at that border where he can't choose between the two, How can u choose ur love over ur parents and how can u forget the one u love for ur parents... its just for Lallu to realize that u can love two people just as much, and that Prem did not choose Heer over Lallu because that can never be a choice... They co-exist for him in his heart...

So I really think that this is a brilliant show and we will have some wonderful moments in the future... I don't think its going the KZK way.. and Lallu will someday find out that Heer and Meher are his friend's daughter,, and I think it will happen soon...

So don't quit on this show, I haven't ! I think that the creatives are really very intelligent and especially with this show they are balancing things out very well, and in all honesty I believe that this is one of the best Balaji serials that Ekta has ever produced, because they are paying attention to very little details too !

I agree completely with this part.......and realy realy loved ur analysis.....hope each word of u come true......after 4 years i got courage to watch ekta soap again...just fr prem....and she is ruining his charcter 🤢gosh .....but really scared because before this I left all her shows...in 4 months....despite how good I never saw any of her couple together...but i want premeer to be together...married or not....thats okie...they should be together....your analysis is too good....and very positive.....thanks for this ray of hope

Vibhaaaaaaaaaaa!! Im literallyyyy pulling my hair out atm. Heer FINALLY confesses rather proposes to Prem. Afterrr alll this timeeee and Prem REFUSES. WTHELL!!!!..Okay, i do see Prem's POV [?] I guess he wants to give Heer the best of the best and right now he cant do so. So maybe he feels bit incompetant in that matter, you know the male ego. They want to be provider of the family. Fullfil his wifes desire's and wishes etc etc etc. [And i guess thats the main point that will come to Prem's defence] But i guess in all this Prem is forgetting that all Heer really wants is HIM and nothing more nothing less! She doesnt care whether his Poor or Rich, cuz at the end of the day she wants HIM and no one elsee!! 😕 So for her it doesnt matter if she's living in some Palace of some shed, unless his with Heer!..Sighh! So i dont know why Prem is going all wierdd about it all. He could atleast have the decency to put her off gently or hear what she has to say..😕😕 Poor Heer just stood there and Prem blabbed on endlessly..I feel bad for her!..

2. So now back to square one...both heer and prem sad...even more so coz both know they love each other and cant have each other...i say go for living in together...no need to get married...live together in partnership that works with me...........

Yup, Vibha we are indeed bck to square one. PH takes one step forward and two steps back Before they had a reason to be SAD..They were seperated from each other and now even when they are together living in the same house. They still cant find happiness within each other, they are still SAD!!..And thats just plaing SAD!!

Just one thing:

Prem grew up in Canada...a highly western country where husband and wife both work outside of home...where the wives often earn a lot more than the husban...infact husbands often stay home and take care of kids while the wives go work outside. So why is Prem suddenly being so egoistical? Suddenly why does he feel like he has to completely support Heer? Why the insecurity and machoist viewpoint that he has to provide for her and bcoz currently can't do that he can't marry her? What happened to being together in sukh and dukh? Even after Heer tells Prem I am with you and I will support you, why is he being so egoistic and trying to be a typical macho?

hey vibha, that was an awesome post mortem on todays eppy!!!😭 which brings me back to our thursday's discussion where we were talking about how younge Prem is and today he proved how unsure he feels right now about the choices he has made.. for someone said something about he cant get married without his parents blessing, well hmm that was kinda a forgone conclusion when lallu told him that i'm old school and my word of mouth is my bond.. so hmm why is Prem double trackin back and trying to get out of a dicey situation??!!!! (perhaps cuase he has chewed off more then he can swollow😉) oops i feel really bad for prem.. its never easy falling in love, its even harder choosing your parents over your love and its down right impossible leaving the person you love when they're ready to take that plunge into matrimony and you arent..😕.. oh well i'm sure Prem will find his way just hope it sooner rather then later..

Slyvie, the frustration that you are feeling is justified.
They keep on introducing new plots and forgot about the basic character of a person.

Today's episode had a very simple story to tell but I think that the dialogue writer's messed it up today.

As I said in Nandini's post, Prem should have acknowledged what Heer did - I mean he just realised that she not only got a job to get him a suit, but also cooked his favorite food and hosted a party for him. She has done something for him for the first time. And then he knows how shy she is and she still mustered up the courage to propose to him (he could see how nervous she was from the way she was speaking). He is so in tune with her feelings, how could he miss all this.
the dialogue writer's forgot that today.

I understand why he refused her and his reasons are valid and he does not want her to carry all the burden - but just a few words acknowleding what she had done would have suffised.

Hopefully the KDMHMD team will get it all right in one episode.!! The editing, the characters, the dialogues and fewer sub-plots.

well, prem has had a bad day except for the little trip to the temple in the morning and meeting with kulraj-di then too.

sigh. ya, i know. i always thought prem-heer was the strangest love story because the god-makes-couples angle had to be true for us to believe in their love. 'cause these two have never had any fun times together where they "fell in love with each other". and i guess for normal human beings like you and me, we look for consistency.

either you are together by divine providence. in which case, why the heck isn't divinity working to make a smooth path? or you are not. in which case, you have the laughter and the happiness and the love building up to something sweet and solid. i agree with you that there has to be sometime that's just maniacally filled with happiness. 😆 which we haven't got so far.

but, i think the story and the characters are doing well, no? one thing that i will say is that after thinking about it, the characters remain true to where they started from. maybe it's just that the show isn't old enough. but i've seen characters being ripped to shreds. the first that i saw was prithvi in kyph. then yug in kavyanjali. then lakshya in ksbkbt. for me, that is when the story dies. when the show becomes worthless to watch.

the story is still good. the presentation, they have been making a mess of in a while, i agree.

so far, prem is true. heer is true. preet, meher, gayatri-c, kulraj, dirtchachi, ashlesha (?), laluchacha -- even melissa's love-to-hate harman! -- are have been true to their characterisation.

so i'm happy. am i being too cheap? 😆
