He is SO Sickeningly Full of Himself! How can one man be so selfish as to Kill His Own Son...and Turn His Own Wife Into A Widow?

And his disbelief of what Heer said to him today...His Disbelief that THIS Heer Could Be Heer Mann....that was only in his own attempt to save himself from guilt, pain, and misery! He didn't beleive that this could be his Beloved Friend's Daughter because he would then have to admit that he was wrong...he would shame himself! What a Jerk to turn away from her for the safety of his own izzat and image!

Exactly! He is a hypocrite in every sense of the word. He goes around giving bhashans about sanskaar and izzat, and then turns around and dares to speak to his son and wife the way he does. This man is so selfish its disgusting! His izzat is everything to him but Prem's, Gayatri's. HEER's izzat don't mean a thing. How dare he accuse Prem's love, how dare he threaten Gayatri's mangalsutra and question her loyalty, how dare he raise a finger at Heer and say she's the reason his family name is now sullen. God, this guy needs a reality check. I just don't understand how he can be so blind to the truth....and to put his own izzat before Prem's pain! He's just painfully self-centered. I'm appalled at his very character!
