Prem Confesses but now what!

Alright. Honestly speaking, I was not going to post the analysis for today or comment on the episode today and thought of posting the analysis tom along with tomorrows episode.

Because i honestly didnt want to burst your bubble and my own bubble. So forgive me folks for today as I just highlight a few points as I think the writers are one confused lot!!!

a) Lalt and Prems Scene - I seriously dont get lalit. Why is he over and over trying to drill into prem a so called rishta. Does lalit too realises that prem has every right to love another person or is it his guilt that is killing him and making him react the way he is. I really thought lalit would have been a strong character but his character is shown to be some one who is weak, who himself has no idea on what he wants. Its sad really because deepak qazir ji is a brilliant actor but the way his character is being portrayed on the show, is a way too disappointing.

He is getting prem married to ash because that is his friends wish. . But he has for one moment never thought of his friend or then of his friends daughters. He has for once never thought of finding ouyt or questioned as to where heer is - whether she is alive also or not.

He keeps telling prem about marriages and bonds but why - is it his own guilt that is killing him. Is it because of his own failures in life. I dont know.

Prem & Confession - Prem has confessed to being in love with heer. A well enacted scene which probably made up for all the shortcoming . I am really wanting to know how the character of ptrem will be handked moving forward ... for now prem has promised his father to keep ashlesha happy, to put ashleshas happiness above her own but he has also admitted to heer in being love with her. I really want to know the stand prem will take. Will be strong enough to admit to the world that he is in love with heer and wants to marry her or would be bestow down to the pressures of the world and go ahead and marry ashlesha...

It will be intresting to see how the creatives now handle the plot. Will the plot go ala other balaji soaps is what renains to be scene.

Well, see, seeing BTs other shows, I think they might make a huge blooper again, and if they want PH together bad, they wont care about anything else, but get PH together.

haven't seen it yet. but your commment reminds me of one of the nicest female character on a tv-show: that one-off wedding in the hotel, where the girl runs off, puts heer in a spot where prem can hold her hand a lot and defend her nicely?

i remember the spiel that pammi(?) and ayan (?) made about the importance of truth and true love. i remember thinking that they were so good that i wouldn't mind seeing a show on them: how maybe pammi would be betrayed by the guy she was in love with, how ayan would be her friend, and how it would turn in true love. 😆

maybe it's a clue that perhaps prem and heer will not have such a rotten deal after all?

I agree..especially the Lalit part.
He cares so much for his friend's wish..doesn't Prem's wish and emotions mean nothing to him ?? How can he take his son for granted and force his decision on him? Not once did he respect his feelings. Is his son going to be happy in a fake, loveless marriage ?

Ok if I had to look forward, I think that during their conversation, Heer started dreaming. Because from saying 'mein khush hoonga' he suddenly broke into 'mein nahi hoonga'. That sounded a bit abrupt, unless of course he suddenly started speaking the truth. But then again Gayatri watching them does not fit in with Heer breaking into a dream. So there goes my logic.
I do not think that they will meet soon. First, Heer's rishta may break but today's scene between Lalit and Prem just showed that even though Heer is available, Prem is still very much committed out of loyalty to his dad.
Prem's dialogues during his conversation with Lalit were so heart wrenching 😭 😭 😭 .
Let us wait and watch. Hopefully no multiple marriages here. Can Ekta make serials without multiple marriages - other serials BMTD and SP do not need it to make the story move forward. Why can Ekta not do it?

@ Maya Di - Long Time No Seen, How have you been? Great to see you here. Oh i am enjoying the moment, thats why i kept dreaming premeer last night and couldnt sleep... *sigh* *sigh*, think am gonna watch the repeat today...how i dont know myself 😳 😳The confession was great though and i loved it. Power packed indeed. I hope that something happens and the truth is knoewn to all. I hope that the truth is known before the marriages and not on the day of marriage or after the marriage. I think eveyone will come to know that prem loves heer when the video recording is shown, which i somehow think will be either now or then on the day of the sangeet
@ Magpie _07: I cant understand lalits character one bit. But i think its the underline guilt lying in him that a) he wasnt there to fulfil his frienfds promise b) his friend passed away and he wasnt around for the last rite..c) of not fulfilling his fathers wishes...
I personally though dont know what kind of guilt is this because the creatives havent shown lalit remembering balraj even once. They only show the parampara and anushan bit...

I think i have been a little skeptical about this whole thing because I know that its going to go down the same old beaten track. I dont know how the creatives are going to handle the story line but knowing their penchant for spoiling the show, I think it will be a while before they show prem & heer as actually meeting each other and being together. I will reserve my comments for later and post it after the show... I will again be watching it chori see today 😆 😆 😆 better get some chocolates to patao the hosts children today so that they let me watch kis desh instead of IPL (its deccan vs delhi today - a high action game indeed, Mumbai lost yestto Jaipur - darn, I wanted them to win and I havent being seeing the matches as I have been too busy drooling over the prem 😆 😆 ) I too hope that they learn something from their past mistakes and do something about it...
@ estee di - I too hope that prem-heer dont get a rotten deal after all. May be the creatives should make use of that dialogue now. The time is apt. There are plenty of things that the creatives need to takje care of right now and i hope that in this week and the coming weeks, they handle those aspects wih tender loving care.

For me, It would be interesting to see the stand prem takes now. He has agreed to being in love with heer, and has promised his dad that he would keep ashlesha happy. On one side is his love and on the other his morals and duty. To both, he has a responsibility. So which way would he go/should do darlings.

now prem will be in dilemma....

on one side his morals and duties as a son and on the other side his love and promise to be with his ladylove for all birth....now its upto prem what he chooses his duties as son or love which he promise to be with her all births....

lalit is a great friend no doubt but he is a not that good father because he doesn't understand his son's feelings and what his son heart desires

Don't think you are being a wet blanket...the truth is that Prem has confessed a bit too early from my POV in terms of a typical ghissa-pitta Ekta show....

So now that it's done...what's next????

BTW I loved those honeyed Fig's dammit today.......Awesome!!!
