The epi starts with everyone clapping on the engagement announcement...Lalit calls Prem..and he stands besides Preet..Ashs blushes...Prem goes ahead..Ash is confused..Lalit introduces Prem to everyone..Ash almost has a faint down realising who Prem actually is...Dj sees her faint n manages her saying she is dieting thus shee fainted..she drags Ash away! There Lalit praises Prem from being a great son he is, in todays world where a brother is not his own..and balwant looks guilty..An old man comes and praises him and Prem...Lalit asks prem what he was gonna say...he says tht he is happy with what ever he has decided..Lalit blesses him and leaves..prem looks on sadly to gayatri , who seemed to see the pain in his eyes..
Heer and Meher land up at the house..Dj sees them and rushes to them..trying to control her disappointment that they came before the engagement got over...but she feigns sorrow tht she doesnt have ppl to work, and she feels ashamed as those ppl will think they are small(Which you are! mentally you r a pea brain!!! hens think better than you! huh!) she goes on to tell them that she also needs to show them that they can afford caterers and all so meher n heer agree to help Dj (another set of Dumbos!) Dj tries to feign sadness tht she is trying to make her neices work..Heer says its their pride to help their sisters....Dj blesses them and says i wish you were my daughters..a guy comes and Dj tells the girls to go with him and tell them the work..and tells Heer to make sure they add less salt to the drinks...they leave...DJ thinks, to herself..I told you add less salt else ppl become namakharam...it is better to feed them less so that they will never become namakharams! There Heer and Meher go into the kitchen and the guy curses that there is a limit to being a miser and here they paid less so tht they get lesser ppl to work! heer and meher are sad and tearful..the guy tells them he will get them their catering uniforms...
Ash is in the room..Dj comes to her and curses her tht she wanted to marry tht bandar preet who keeps roaming here n there? She curses her more and praises Prem...and tells Ash tht if she was in her place she would only marry the rajkumar Prem...and she likes her...Prem also takes care of all the business...and is good..Ash says but he is cold..he does not like the things i like...Dj says thts good as tht will save her money and if tht saves him money, then she can use those money...she goes on to say, why do you think i married your father...the fatso with not even good looks..only for money..Ash is shell shocked (Idiot!! she is insulting your father, her husband and you are looking on??Characters like Dj are an insult to women!) She tells Ash, tht she is getting two in one, good looking as well as rich and tht she should go ahead and only marry Prem...Ash reluctantly agrees...
Prem is standing sad and thinking of lalits announcement..Gy comes to him and asks why he is sad...he says nothing..Gy says why did you say yes for the marriage..Prem says bcoz i wanted to..Gy asks then why are you sad? Prem keeps quite..Gy says kids can hide many things but a mothers eye can always see the pain..and asks him wht is the issue..Prem tells her tht he saw someone in the shiv mandir...Gy asks whom? Prem says she was a girl..Gy asks her name...prem says I dont know her name or anything..but seeing her i felt tht i was related to her for as long as i have lived...like her pain was mine....i dont know why sometimes strangers become like our own...I dont know why i am so attracted to her....Gy asks if she should talk to lalit prem says no..he just wants to see lalit happy..and he leaves..Gy is sad...
Meher is serving ppl food..and a man replaces his plate onto her tray..she asks him why he kept it back..the guy says bcoz his wife does not want him to eat fried stuff..and he says he hasnt even touched it..so she can give it to some one..Meher looks on sadly..she then keeps her tray, takes tht plate and goes inside...in the kitchen..she looks at the plate and starts putting the food into her pocket..as she is about to put the second piece..Dj catches her hand...Dj asks very angrily wht she is doing? if she had to do such low stuff she could have told her, there were so many ppl who ate half plate..she could have given her from tht...meher is tearful...Dj scolds meher more and takes the food out of her pocket...Heer comes in and tells Dj to foegive her...Dj suddenly changes her tone and says I never told her not to eat..but she shouldnt have gone down to stealing...Heer asks for forgiveness again...Dj tells ok but be sure to take the remaining food out of her pocket and serve other food..she leaves..Heer asks meher why she did this..Meher says she didnt steal, she wasonly getting the food for heer,s icne she hadnt eaten as well...they both have a sweet moment and Meher cries....
There in the hall...Llait announces again..and introduces his sons to the guests and tells about his friendship with Balraj...they all dance and sing to the song chapa chapa charka chale...Prem sings and thinks of Heer...as Heer serves ppl drinks...after the song..prem n Ash sit to change rings....Prem has the ring in his hand..ash does not have it..she asks Ash where is her ring..Ash says she gave it to Preet in the morning,t hinking he was Prem....Dj is tensed..Gy asks if anything is wrong...Dj says i dont get tensed tht easily, i give tension...she goes in and then curses as to why she cant find the girls when she needs..right then Heer comes..and she notices the ring in her hand..Dj rushes to her and tells her she needs her ring ..heer says its her moms as she gifted it to her on diwali..Dj says she will get her two more like tht but right now she needs hers and Dj snatches it from her and rushes back..heer is tearful..
In the hall Dj is back with the ring and slips it into Ash's hand..., Dj says in our custom, if the girls ring of the middle finger fits the guys small finger then they r a couple made in heaven...Balwant cracks a horrible joke at that as to how he n Dj are made in heaven...Anyways...Prem puts the ring o Ash...Dj then asks Ash to put hers on Prem...Preet says Ash babhi now is the real test to see how well you guys are for each other...as Ash puts the ring onto Prems finger..Heer comes there tearful...
