My two cents: 03/12

Hey all you sterling folks🤗 🤗 I just wanted to share my thoughts on yesterday's episode and would love to know yours.

What I liked about the episode: Fresh

It was fresh. NO, not in the sense of the concept/story being a fresh one😆😆 I can already see K serial dramatics climbing its way up fast but having a new cast as leads gives a fresh feeling sometimes. Having the same old cast from other shows tends to get boring, so its great they have a new cast as leads and Heer's parents, though not new, I personally haven't seen them on-screen since a while, so they all seemed new.

The three brothers: what it made it work was they did look like brothers around the same age, with Prem having a slightly more mature look than Preet and Harman. Also it looked like they all bond together well which is great for a start. Last but not least, they all were so cute. 😛

Manmeet wasn't that bad looking either, he seemed to be a nice character but then again, what meets the eye at first glance isn't the truth of a K soap.

Heer looked nice, I just couldn't figure out how she was shy and smiling in the previous episode and sad and upset in the next when she sees Manmeet. She may feel tangled in a web of the dreams she was shown since childhood and what is in front of her now, but I got confused with her being shy and smiley when they thought Manmeet had arrived and then being upset when he did arrive.😕

What I didn't like: Stale

Why was there any need to have the Canadian team as villains or cheaters in the game? I don't get why the opposite side always have to be cheaters. Yes, they did play the goal song, so that makes sense of why they showed it but still can't a fair game be played and their side could've still won. Also, Preet is a part of the game, yet he is lying somewhere in India which they made out to be Canada and suddenly he gets up, changes and arrives to play? They should've just made him sit somewhere in the stands, and still orchestrate a 'macho' entry for him.😆😆

India vs. Canada, this made no sense at all. Should've just been Junejas and team vs. the other team.

Another thing I didn't like was the constant slide-ins of God's idols with Preet and Prem. Their characters maybe good now, but when they slide through mud later on in the show, it wouldn't look as nice.

Also, how did the other team find out Prem was injured in childhood?😆

What I found hilarious was that these people showed India vs Canada in Football, these two teams aren't known for their football teams firstly, and there were loads of bloopers with the game itself. Usually if a player deliberately hurts another player, he gets a Red Card and is banned from the game. Over here, nothing of that sort happened at all!!! 😆

Yes, exactly, it could clearly be seen that the guy injured Prem deliberately, but other than his worried parents, no one raised an objection over it.😆 Also, no one came forth with a first aid kit either, and there Prem was lying on the ground in sheer pain.

About the idols for Prem-Preet, wow never thought about it that way. But to be fair, its symbolic of something thats gonna happen in the future. Don't wanna give it away but you can read the episode synopsis for both Prem and Preet and you'll realize what I mean!!! 😊

That may be true, I have read the character sketch and that kinda gives it away of whats in store for the future but still this being a K soap is bound to travel through twists and turns that can turn ugly for a while and then if you look back, it'll make an ugly mark of this symbolism.

I agree with you about the freshness, I found Preet absolutely adorable. I've never watched Harshad Chopra before, and I thought he looked ok when he entered the show, but he smiled and hailaa! His smile was gorgeous, kinda lost my heart to him in that very moment. He's also an excellent actor! 😃

Yea, Preet was adorable, he could improve a bit on dialogue delivery though. I agree with you, I too hadn't seen Harshad Chopra before and only started watching LRL after his exit. So I'd never seen him on television before and when I first saw him, I too was just a tiny bit skeptical, but I saw his eyes and I was like he's not too bad.😆😆

I'm kinda disappointed with the actress playing Heer though, I thought she was very expressionless in yesterdays episode and looked thoroughly bored to be there! . Hope she improves and I really really hope the creatives continue this trend and show more of the guys in todays epi! 😳

Yes, Aditi is raw. I'm sure as the episodes go by, she'll get more comfortable and may improve. I think she looks nice though, especially with open hair. I wouldn't mind them showing more guys, given they aren't all linked to Heer as I fear.😆😆

on the topic of the india vs. canada match...i also wanna point out one more thing..now lalit being indian makes sense that he was cheering for india..but wait..isnt he canadian too? on one hand u shudnt forget where u r from and always respect and cheer for ur origin...but not just this...there's also the fact that when u live & become a citizen of another country where u'v been living for so long, the country that gave u sso much opportunity & took u to success.. u also hav sum dues towards it also not just ur country of origin only...

i mean he kept on sayign its my country i will cheer for it..but canada's his country too...so ..y cudnt he just sit and cheer for both sides as both were his..i mean thats wht i wud do if there was a pak-canada match ..thats wht many of us wud do right? 😕

and plus hey..canadian arents cheaters...how cud they show candians as the villain and cheating types??? 😭 😭 😭

so yeah i found this part a bit wierd...they cud've shown india vs america or sumthign liek that but india vs canada..both are lalit's countries now...he shud've cheered for both and they shud've shown it as a fair match..u knwo wht wud've been more fun to watch was if one of the brothers was on indian side and other on canada..to show their luv for both their countries.. 😊 👏 ny1 here agreee with me on this point???

Yes, I compeletly agree, I was watching KGGK, KSBKBT, right and found it the same, dont know why...bcz no LKT & AM maybe *Shif thinking*, but then I watched Kis Desh and Kasturi and believe me, I was like soo compeltely into them!

Ahh you watch those shows? I don't watch either KSBKBT or KGGK. The first I used to watch but quit years back and the latter didn't even begin. Actually to be honest, I wasn't really into Kasturi when I first watched it, later when MITWA happened, I got addicted.😳😳😆 And Kis Desh, I just like watching the beginnings of each K show, cause they are usually interesting, later on, we knows what a tangled mess it becomes.😆

And than about the fresh new cast for Kis Desh, Yes they do bring a sort of fressness to the show, and personally I liked it.

Heer did look pretty, but about the sad -happy controvesy, I think that she was happy to see who her would to be hubby or devvil would be, but than she started remembering prem, wierd But oh is fair.

Yes...I felt that they might have a 1 year each difference between all, but one thing is, is Preet supposed to be elder than Harmeet? 😕 Cuz if he is than he looked younger than Harmeet. 😕 But rest was fine...loved the bonding *Shif dreaming*

I think Preet is younger than Harmeet, because when I read the character sketch I think that's what it said.

About Manmeet, I agree..he did look nice, but the evilness we could make out from his fce

You could make out evilness on his face? I couldn't, atleast not yet. I found him to be nice but he was carefully observing Heer/her sadness I guess at the end of the episode.

And about the Downs

I compeletly agree on the cheater part, I mean Hello???? And the Preet guy...my cutie...Ok than I know the kind of place he was sitting in on top of his car was in India cuz Canada doesnt have such places. And haha...comming from India straight to the match, it can also be that the match was shot before the car part

You, know, the part that I dont get is, why did they show both PP having a dramtic entry? I mean I can understand Prem, since he is the hero, than why Preet? The only this I can make out is, that Preet will also pplay an important thinig in PHs life.

Shifu, read the character sketch.😆😆 It says Prem and Heer will fall in love, misunderstandings will crop up and Prem will die in an accident. Then Prem's dad will want Harman to marry Heer but Harman is in love with another girl, so Preet steps up to marry Heer despite loving someone else. So you can see why Preet was also given a dramatic entry.😆

I know..it should have been Junejas vs the others because if this match was like a big one, than they should be aware that Canada doesnt have such a strong team and isnt the India team supposed to go from India to play for against Canada? 😕

Yea that whole match needed some serious looking into. Why couldn't they have just made it a college match between two colleges with the Juneja brothers and others in one team from their college and the other team from another college. The India vs. Canada team thingy wasn't needed at all neither was the whole injuring Prem scene.

Anyways, enough of me, and so far, I would rate Kis Desh 8/10

Ohh yes that's a good point that you pointed out. The Junejas do live in Canada, and then chanting my India will win when you live in another country is odd. People might state why live in Canada if you don't like it? Cause like you said he did come to Canada to earn wealth leaving India behind.

Yea, not everyone in the world are cheaters, so I really dislike it when they repeatedly show foreigners/white people as cheaters in a game.

It would be worse if it was India vs. America since they live in Canada and are citizens of it, so they can't qualify as Indian players. I think he should's just cheered for his sons to win, instead of mera india.

Hey ur msg on Harshad caught my attention...Well his smile is his best asset..He wont the ''best smile'' title in the Grasim Mr India...Lolzz😃Yes his smile is too good...He is a very good actor too😊
