"Hey bhagwan... Ab mein kya karoon? Harman...!" Lalit looked around the room, it was completely messed up, things were shattering all around & the wardrop was empty. Lalit collapsed on the floor when his eyes caught a letter, kept on the bed. He grabbed it & read, "Bauji, mujhe maaf karna.. Par mein Meher se shadi nahi kar sakta, mein Maya se pyar karta hoon. I'm sorry, mein aise chala gaya par, mere paas aur koi option nahi tha. Uss din mein aapko maana nahi kar paya tha par I realized, I can't live without Maya. I'm sorry bauji, ho sake toh mujhe maaf karna."
Lalit looked outside the window, there was hustle bustle outside the house. Lalit recalled, how he promised his friend Balraj that his daughters will be daughter-in-law of Juneja family & that day decided that Prem will get marry to Heer & Meher with Harman. "Ab mein kya karoon? Bahar sab Harman ka intezer kar rahe hai. Meher..." He was more worried about Meher, just then Preet walked in the room in search for his father & saw his father crying.
"Dad..." Preet ran to him & sat beside him, "Dad, why r u crying? Harman bhai... Woh kaha hai?" Preet asked looking around the messy room.
"Sab khatam ho gaya Preet. Sab kuch khatam ho gaya..." Lalit cried. Preet looked at him confuse when Lalit forwarded the letter to Preet, he was also shocked reading it. "Bhai.. Bhai aise kaise kar sakte hai? Bauji aap roiye maat. Bhai ko wapas aana hoga, mein wapas launga bhai ko." Saying this Preet was about to get up but Lalit said, "Koi fayda nahi hai Preet, woh wapas nahi ayega. Sab khatam ho gaya, meine apne dost se ki hui wadaa nahi rakh saka..."
"Bauji sambhaliye khudko.. Iss waqt Meher ko aapki zaroorat hai, woh bechari bahar intezer kar rahi hai aur Prem bhai ki bhi toh shadi hai, chalo..!" Preet console his father.
"Nahi... Yeh Meher ki izzat ka sawal hai. Mein yeh nahi kar sakta. Meher ki shadi hogi, aaj hi hogi." Lalit said thoughtfully.
"Par bauji..." Preet interrupted.
"Tu karega Meher se shadi." Lalit declared making Preet shocked, "Tu bhi toh mera beta hai. Mujhe pata hai yeh galat hai. Par mere paas aur koi rasta nahi hai beta. Agar aaj Meher iss Mandap se uth gayi toh Balraj ke sath mein bhi maar jaunga. Sirf tu hi Meher ki uske family ki izzat ko bacha sakta hain Preet." He cried.
"Bauji mein samajhta hoon... Par..! Mein kaise? Aapko pata hai na Ashlesha se mein pyar karta hoon aur Meher... Woh bhi toh Harman bhai se pyar karti hai. Hum kaise? Hum ek doosre ko achhe se jantey tak nahi hai." Preet tried to explain him.
"Pyar ka kya hai Preet... Woh kabhi na kabhi ho jayega, Meher bohot achhi ladki hai aur jaha tak Ashlesha ki baat... Mein usse baat karunga, mein usse samjhaunga. Tu bas haan kar de, mein tere aage hath jodhta hoon Preet." Lailt joined his hands crying when Preet stopped him saying, "Bauji... please..! Mein karunga Meher se shadi.."

Meher was waiting for Harman in the Mandap, it was forth time when priest asked about groom. Meanwhile people started gossiping when Lalit came with Preet who had Sehra on his face no no one able to see his face. "Yaha hai dulha pandit jee.."
Lalit asked him to take place beside Meher & priest started chanting holy matra. They exchanged the garlands & took the seven vows. Then priest asked Prem & Preet to tie the mangalsutra & put vermilion on the partition, they did & priest declared them husband wife. The couples took blessing from the elders when Gayatri asked them to remove the sehra. Prem did but Preet hesitated when Kulraj teased, "Oh my shy boy..! Now remove the curtain from ur face." Preet & Lalit worriedly looked on when Kulraj came forward & remove the Sehra making everyone shocked.
