In this month of March a lot of shows have started and eight years back we had a show commence this month. It had innocence, passion, care, misunderstandings, intense love and yet rooted deep with values and tradition. In short it was a full Ekta drama and yes it was an Ekta Kapoor serial and started with a K.
We are talking about Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and its been eight long years since we met them. It was a journey of Heer and Prem in search of love; true love. The combination of a videshi munda and a swadeshi mundi. Prem and Heer who got bonded in love as children but then as the time passed by they had to separate.
But true when they say" Ek Duje KE Vaaste" as when they met again it was love at first sight and since then it was no looking back. They loved each other every single day of their lives. It almost looked like they were born just to be loved and love each other.
They did not have an extravagant scenes but heir aura was such that even in simplicity they delivered their deep and emotional feelings for each other. They showed the world that love can be pure, innocent and passionate same time. Their simple innocent gestures expressing love for each other, those intense eye locks, duppatta scenes, hand locks, teasing and deep emotional breakdowns.
They made us smile, they made us cry, they made us laugh and they made us angry and they taught us to love. Their separation wrenched our hearts; their eye locks made us drool and their love make us sigh still after so long.
Right from the start till the end they entertained us so much that the bond of their love makes our heart go warm. They make us realize that love is necessary and it can come in forms. They make us believe that indeed true love exists.
We miss them so bad but as they say all good things come to an end.
