upcoming film Kai Po Che! is
inspired by Chetan Bhagat's novel
The 3 Mistakes of My Life. Here's
the first look of the film!
Those who swear by Chetan
Bhagat's novels just can't forget
Ishaan, Govind and Omi from the
author's widely read The 3
Mistakes of My Life. The book and
its interesting trio caught Rock
On! director Abhishek Kapoor's
fancy two years ago. We all know
that Abhishek is making a film
based on Bhagat's popular novel
and he has titled it Kai Po Che!
But we wonder what makes the
intelligent director opt for a
bunch of not widely known
actors rather than handpicking
well known stars from B-town.
After all, the success of Rock On!
has placed Abhishek in the
reckoning and he could have
easily opted for familiar faces.
Sushant Singh Rajput (Pavitra
Rishta) will be making his big
screen debut in this film with
actor Amit Sadh (Ragini MMS) and
Raj Kumar Yadav. We hear that
Abhishek finalised these three
actors after auditioning over a
hundred newcomers. Kapoor
confirmed to a tabloid that he
wants to finish the entire film in
one schedule at Vadnagar near
Ahmedabad. Kai Po Che! is slated
for a 2013 release. We hope that
Abhishek will do justice to
Chetan's touching story and
newcomers Sushant, Amit and
Raj deliver good performances.
Meanwhile, Abhishek has
tweeted an exclusive picture of
the trio – Ishaan, Govind and Omi
– from Kai Po Che! Take a look!

Kai Po Che unveils its first look!

After 3 Idiots, which was the adaptation ofChetan Bhagat's novel Five Point Someone, it's time for another sizzling Ahemabadi theme flick from Chetan's genre.

This time its Kai Po Che based on Three Mistakes of My Life and is being directed byAbhishek Kapoor. The director tweeted with a pic of the star cast Sushant Singh Rajput,Amit Sadh and Raj Kumar Yadav and tweeted, "& 4 all thse asking 4 a look at Ishaan Govind and Omi (Not in order) Here they r'& dey mean business."

The film is being shot in Ahmadabad from last month. The whole cast and crew of the flick is tormenting the tantrums of sun and lead actors Sushant Singh and Amit Sadh were also heard of getting collapsed under the sun.

Manish Hariparasad, the creative director of the film was heard expressing, "It's around 47 to 48 degrees here. We are shooting in authentic locations sans ACs and vanity vans. While shooting the kite flying scene on the terrace of a haveli in old Ahmedabad, the heat took its toll on the two lead actors. They are recovering now."

Well, we are yet to see whether the flick turns out to be as hot and hit after being roasted under the scorching sun.
