Recap: Meher is having a naughty sparkle in her eyes; Chachu, main joh bhi kahun uska kya, bhaiya ajaiye, woh hi bata de ke unko yeh rishta kaisa lagta hain… And Meher knew she could count on her bhaiya!
Part 2
When Meher had said this, we hear someone entering the living room. It's Prem, who examines Ballu from head to toe. Ballu and his dad are confused thinking who this man might be. Balraj by seeing their confusion: Ji, yeh mera baanja Prem hain, Meher ka barah bhai. Prem beta, dekh yeh log Meher ke haath maangne aye hain.
Prem vows his hands together; Namaste and they greet him back.
Balraj: Prem, inko to Meher pasand, lekin tum kya kehte ho?
Prem: woh chachu, I don't really know him, kya main inke saath thori dehr keliye akele mein baath kar sakta hoon, while asking this he had a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Balraj recognized that glint and screamed it out: NAHI!!! With a shocked expression, while Gurinder thought it would be a great idea to let the jiju and saala open up a little bit with each other.
Gurinder: Arre Balraj bhai, I think that's a good idea, turns over to Prem, haan beta kyun nae tum dono jao
Prem looks at ballu: to chale jija ji! And poor Ballu who doesn't know what Prem thinks agrees and they both leave.

Meanwhile outside…
You can see Prem riding on his horse fast and behind him tries Ballu to ride on a horse but Prem is to fast.
Ballu: my sweet sweet sala, please slow down!
Prem smiles: oho jija ji, don't tell me you can't ride on a horse
Ballu feels his ego rising up: no way, main to tumhare liye keh raha tha ke speed kam karo, please for me this is nothing, is this all you got?
Prem rolls his eyes; yeah right, and then talks loud, oke if you say so and increase his speed.
Inside the house Gurinder and Balraj are planning the wedding (actually Gurinder is planning and Balraj just shakes his head)
Gurinder: theek hain Balraj bhai, ab hum chalte hain
Balraj: ji theek hain, pata nae yeh do naujawan kahan reh gaye
Meher looks at heer: looks like bhaiya thought to kill Ballu today
Heer thinks: I wouldn't be surprised!
And the four of them walk outside
Just then they hear Gurinder yell: DEKHIYE, agaye dono and they all see Prem coming up with his horse, Gurinder looks surprised: lekin yeh akela kyun aya, Ballu kahan hain mera?
Balraj laughs: yehi main to aapko keh raha tha, jayenge do, lekin wapis ayega ek and Gurinder looks shocked at him.
Just then Ballu's horse comes up after Prem but without Ballu, when they look better you can see that the horse had dragged Ballu on the ground.
Gurinder gets shocked to see his son like this and runs over to him: Ballu, yeh tujhe kya hua? Ballu while trying to get up: I just had a sweet horse ride with my saala dad… Gurinder then says to Balraj: agar aapko mera Ballu pasand nae tha, to foron keh dete, us bechare ke halat aisa banana lazmi tha kya, and grabs his son to go in the car and drives fast away.
When the car is out of sight Balraj walks up to Prem: Ladka nahi tujhe pasand tha or nahi mujhe, lekin uska halat aisa kyun karna tha?
Prem with a naughty expression: Chachu, warna maza kahaan se ata and walks away. When he walks past Meher, he stops to look at her, Meher smiles at him and he winks at her, and walks further. When Meher sees that he is out of sight she starts to dance the bhangra. While dancing Heer pokes Meher to stop, but Meher ignores it, but Heer still pokes her so Meher gets irritated and stops to ask her what the problem is. Heer signals her to look over there and when Meher does that, she sees Balraj looking at her with a questioning expression.
Meher: woh, woh uhm woh kya hain na chachu but Balraj cuts her of; No no meher, you continue, I understand and he walks away to.
Night…
Prem is sitting outside on the terrace on the swing. Meher walks up to him with a tray with food.
Meher: Bhaiya, prem looks at her, main aap ke liye khaana layi
Prem smiles and signals her to sat the tray on the table. Meher sits next to him.
Meher: bhaiya, main dekh rahe the ke aap kafi gehre soch mein khoye hue the, kya baat hain?
Prem smiles: kuch nae Meher
Meher frowns; bhaiya aap to jaante hain na ke aap mujhse jhoot nae bol sakte ho, to batao na, kahin Heer ke bare mein soch rahe the huh? And smiles naughtily.
Prem frowns: kya fazool batein karte ho Meher, Heer ke bare mein main kyun sochon? Meher acts innocent: aap hi bataiyen, aap Heer ke bare mein kyun soch rahe the?
Prem: Meher, I never said that I was thinking about Heer.
Meher gets shocked; to agar aap Heer ke bare mein nae soch rahe the to phir kis ke bare mein, and starts to think how she can tell her best friend that her brother is in love with someone else.
Prem: chotki, I was thinking about you!
Meher frowns: mere bare mein kyun ( and gets relieved to know that her brother didn't think about a other girl)
Prem smiles seeing his sister adorable innocent expression: meher, main tumhare shaadi ke bare mein soch raha tha
Meher frowns and mumbles: why does everyone wants me to get married? Am I that irritating?
Prem frowns: Meher, don't talk about yourself like that understand! You're absolutely not irritating, you're my life and you are my number 1 priority. Always remember that understand! Meher nods. He continues: main soch raha tha ke kab tumhara mr. Right ayega, ab tak joh bhi aaye hain woh kitne lafangey the (meher grins) pata nae kab ayega woh
Meher smiles: to yeh baat hain,, offo bhaiya, mera mr. Right tab ayega jab main kahoonge to, or abhi tak maine usko permission nae diye aane ke liye.
Prem smiles, meher: ab chalo bhaiya, ab to kuch khaaye, warna khaana thanda ho jayega! Prem smiles and takes a bit of the food, while tasting it he asks her: khaana tumne banaya? Meher nods: acha hain? Prem frowns; no, warna main kaise pechaan sakta ke tumne khaana banaya hain, it's so ….and he shivers. Meher looks at him with a shocked expression: bhaiya, is it that bad?

Meher looks down, Prem: Meher…

Next morning

Prem: Me.. but Meher cuts him in: bhaiya aap dekh nae rahe lekin aap ko pata hain mere haath mein kab ki pooja thali hain jisme main ek rakhi bhi rakha hain!
Prem curses himself to forget Raksha Bandhan again: main bhi na kitna bewakoof hoon ke main bhoolgaya tha or woh bhi phir se! I'm so sorry Meher, kaho jo bhi maangna hain kehdo, main tumhe who dedoonga
Meher: kuch bhi?
Prem: kuch bhi, ab batao kya chahiye?
Meher wants to tell, but she bits her lip not knowing to tell her bhaiya or not.
Prem: meher, main dekh raha hoon ke tum kuch maangna chahte ho, so please tell me
Meher: woh, bhaiya, main to, woh kya hain na bhaiya, jaise aap jaante hain ke yeh mera last year parhai ki, or bhaiya main chahte hoon ki main mere last year Mumbai ki college mein finish karo
Prem: leker chutki, yahaan Ludhiana mein to
Meher cuts in: bhaiya, main jaante hoon ke main yeh yahaan bhi kar sakte hoon lekin main duniya ke saath chalna chahte hoon bhaiya, I want to see the world, their soch etc.
Prem gets up and walks over to the picture on his wall of his late parents. He remembers how their parents wanted him to look out after his sister and take care of her.
