Why did Vaishali change her name to Meher?

I was reading this news about Ram milaya jodi and it said meher vij entering the show, i clicked on the picture and it is Meher from Kis desh. Then i thought her name was Vaishali Sahdev and i know she married to kiran from kis desh, manav vij. And also in one interview he said that he likes calling her Meher...

Does that mean she completely changed her name from Vaishali Sahdev to Meher Vij??? that's weird...........................

what's the point of changing the name. i understand if it is a nick name but not change it completely.

just my view!!

Um, correct me if I'm wrong but I heard from one of my friends that before marriage the couples get their horoscopes or charts looked at. Sometimes the girls may have to change their names to have a better match with their husband's chart or something like that 🤓

Really i didn't know that.. that's weird. i thought it was because her husband called her Meher (the show name) but i don't get why u have to change the name completely!

I think she changed her name just because manav liked to called her meher and it means blessing in punjabi...thats all I heard in one of the articles I read. I am not sure if we can talk about this since its a actor's personal life and we are not supposed to discuss about it.
