The sangeet!!

The girls woke up the next morning.

They were feeling very tired from the night before, there was only one day left before the wedding and everyone was very excited.

Meher had been talking about her plans after marriage the whole night; she had kept the girls awake the whole night.

They did not enjoy that one bit, but as it was Meher's wedding and she was and still is very excited they stayed up and listened to her, as she got in to more detail her face glowed as she mentioned Preet's name.

Heer didn't have the heart to stop her sister and tell her that she was tired and wanted to go to sleep.

In the end at around 2:30am Meher had fallen asleep after realising that all the others had gone to sleep and that she was just talking to the walls around her.

Today was the day of Meher's sangeet the Juneja's were not going to come today but Kulraaj and Veera had been invited by everyone so that they could make the sangeet livelier.

"Arre Meher, you have finally woken up I thought that you will be sleeping the whole day," Heer teased.

"Di, did I sleep that late?" asked Meher "the last time I had looked at the clock it was 12:30 in the night after that I had started my chitter chatter and couldn't be bothered to look at the time"

"Don't worry Meher, you didn't sleep that late it is only 9:00 am and ma wants you to sleep well and get all your beauty sleep," said Heer pulling the blinds up.

"What time will the guests be coming tonight di?" asked Meher.

"My dear sister Preet won't be coming so don't get too happy, you both are not allowed to see each other before the marriage but Kulraaj di and Veera will be coming," said Heer.

"Ji Heer di," said Meher making her way to the bathroom "I know that Preet won't be coming but I just wanted to know the time so that we could all get ready on time yesterday we had gotten a bit late.

"The time is 7:00 pm everyone will be at home today, ma has said that she has called a beautician over for all of us she doesn't want to take the risk that she had taken yesterday," said Heer.

"Ok I will be downstairs after my shower," said Meher "tell ma that I will eat my breakfast there she doesn't have to send it upstairs"

"Haan ok I will tell her," said Heer walking out of the room to go down stairs.

Kulraaj and Veera were busy with the decorations whilst Preet was in Prem's room doing some office work.

Gay3 walked in to the room to see the duo sitting at a lap top with lots of files spread around them.

"Arre what are you two doing?" asked Gay3 walking into the room to see the files spread all over the bed.

"Nothing ma just finishing the last of the project which we are doing," said Preet.

"Preet, you are getting married tomorrow you should not be sitting here doing office work and you Prem, please get out of this working world and have some fun," said Gay3.

"Ma this is the final part after that we promise we won't do any work till the marriage is over," said Preet.

"Prem I trust you, I know this boy doesn't always tell the truth so I am putting you in charge please no work till this marriage is over," said Gay3 pleadingly.

"Ji ma you can trust me, we won't even discuss about office work till the marriage is over," said Prem.

"Ok, I am leaving now there is a lot of work left to do," said gay3 walking out of the room.

Prem and Preet finished their work in half an hour, after that they had nothing to do they were bored so they decided to see Preet and Meher's engagement pictures.

They looked through all of them, every picture Prem saw of Heer he was even more astounded by her beauty.

"Preet is this Meher's elder or younger sister?" asked Prem pointing at Heer.

"Woh PB she is Meher's elder sister, by the way how comes you are asking about her all of a sudden," asked Preet.

"Just wondering I thought she was the younger sister," said Prem "how comes she isn't married?"

"She said that she is waiting for her prince charming to come and that she won't marry anyone else apart from him," said Preet still not understanding why his brother was asking about his saali.

Prem thought she is waiting for her prince charming just like I am waiting for my princess, wonder if she is the one for me.

She had seen Meher's hand it was really dark, she knew that Preet loved Meher a lot and his love was showing.

"Heer beta the day is flying look at the time it's already 3 please can you go and pick up Meher's dress from the tailors?" asked Teji "I have a lot of work to do and there is no one else free either"

"Ji ma I'll go and pick up her dress now then by the time I come back the beautician would have come too," said Heer picking up the car keys and her purse rushing for the door.

"Go carefully beta," called Teji.

"I will ma," said Heer walking towards her car.

She sat in the car and drove out of the gates on the way she stopped at a stall where they were selling payals, she had liked them the last time she had been to the market and she had loved them a lot.

She bought them and then went to the tailors shop to pick up Meher's dress.

She drove back home to see that her dress had been delivered from the boutique.

She along with the help of Maya helped Meher to get ready, she looked stunning.

The sangeet started all the guest arrived; they all praised how Meher, Heer and Maya were looking.

Veera and Kulraaj also arrived they also looked stunning, they were highly praised for their clothes.

Kulraaj and Veera joined in the fun too.

Everyone was enjoying it but there was one person who didn't like the sangeet with out Prem.

Even though she had just met him a day ago it felt like she knew him since eternity.
