I got this Concept long back. i kept this to write it as a longer FF. Now i thought of posting it as SS in One shot.
Prem, big business man Lalit Juneja and Gaya3's son. Heer is a daughter of a middle class parents Balraj and Teji. They are caring and loving parents. Prem and Heer are studying in same college in London. But they are not in same course. Prem is doing his MBA. Heer is doing Fashion designing. Both are in their final years of studies.
From the day Heer entered the college, she is seen only with Prem. Megher is her close friend. Preet and Megher are lovers. Since Prem is Preet's childhood friend, all four are always seen together in the campus. Prem and Preet's fathers are close friends. So Prem and Preet are staying in Juneja Mansion, London. Their families are in Canada. Heer is staying with her parents in London.
While Preet and Megher are busy in romancing Prem and Heer will be busy teasing them. They like to tease other. They will be fighting like cats and dogs. In the next second they will be holding hands roaming around the campus licking a single cone ice-cream. Prem and Heer are well known friends in the campus. Prem always picks Heer up from her house to college and drops her in the evening. Balraj and Teji also know him very well. Prem and Heer shared their thoughts, interest and food. They are always seen sitting on a wall eating from same tiffin box during lunch time.
As soon as their class gets over they run to a tree in one corner of the campus. The tree is named Premeer tree by their friends. Prem and Heer never allowed anyone to sit under that tree when they are inside the campus. They chase them like dogs. During exams they are always seen studying under that tree, leaning on their back.
Exams are over, Heer ran to the tree to meet Prem. Prem too ran to that place. Both reached that place at the same. Heer 'how did you wrote the exams?' Prem 'fine. You.' Heer 'fine.' Prem 'come we'll go and celebrate.' Heer agreed.
Preet and Megher came there. Prem 'come we'll go and celebrate.' Preet 'not a bad idea.' A group passed them 'from t'row no one will be under this tree. So it is ours.' They sat under the tree. Preet sensed they are starting the fight. 'come we'll go.' He dragged Prem. One guy 'I'm sad I won't be able to see this romancing couple here again. Really they are hot.' Prem clenched his fist.
Another 'they will find another place for romance. ' Prem turned to him with anger. He gave a tight blow on his face. guy nose started bleeding. Another 'how dare you hit him.' Heer and Preet and tried to control him. Prem pushed them away 'she is my friend.' Guy 'don't lie. You both don't look like just friends more than that.'
Another 'accept the truth man.' Prem shouted holding his collar 'she is my friend JUST friend.' Heer with tears 'Prem, come.' She dragged him away. Preet and Prem are walking ahead of Heer and Megher. Preet stopped when they reached the place where there is no one around them. 'Prem, you both are friends we all know that. Why are you getting angry when they telling like that? Many are talking like in this campus.' Prem looked at him with anger 'how come they talk like this Preet? ' he turned to Heer 'Heer, do I told you like that? Did I ever cross my limit of friendship.' Heer shook her head 'no.' she looked down. Tears came out of her eyes.
One more person crossing them 'may be their parents didn't accept for their marriage. That is why she is crying? He is a rich man. she is poor girl. so its normal.' Prem kicked his leg in the ground in anger. He shouted 'i'm leaving Canada tonight. I won't comeback here again.' Heer looked at him with shock. Preet 'do you want to break your friendship for these stupid fellows.' Prem 'I have no option Preet. I cannot spoil her future. If I stay here they will develop a story about us.' Without waiting for their response he walked away. Preet ran behind him.
Heer leaned on the nearby tree for support. Megher touched her shoulder. Heer tried hard to control her tears. Megher didn't understand why she is struggling like this. She doubted 'may be she loves Prem.' Megher 'Heer, come we'll go home.' Megher literally dragged her to the car. Heer is silent. Megher got scared about that silent.
Preet 'Prem, why are you reacting like this? Ignore them. Leaving Heer like this not good. You both spend 3 three years of sweet friendship. This is not the correct way to go away from her.' Prem angrily 'Preet, friendship always stays in a limit. Our days are over. Now I have to move ahead in my career. I don't want to spoil her career. I was never friendly with girls. But I did the mistake now. This world always gives ugly name to opposite sex friendships. For me Heer is a friend. JUST Friend. Friends cannot stay together through out the life.'
When Heer and Megher entered the house Teji 'why are you crying Heer?' Heer ran to her room. Megher 'Prem is leaving today. So she became emotional.' Teji 'he will come back later Heer don't cry. He has to help his father in business.' Heer cried thinking her mother's confidence on Prem. Megher 'Heer, I'll call Preet. He will ask Prem to talk to you.' Heer 'he won't talk. He not even considered me as his friend. If he thought me atleast a friend then he won't leave just like that. Not even bothered to see my face. his prestige is important for him.' She cried like a kid.
Preet tried to explain because he too wants them to be together as life partners. His phone rang 'Preet, she is not speaking. She crying.' Preet 'she will be alright after few hours don't worry.' Megher 'tell Prem to come and talk to her. May be she will come back to normal in case he talks to her.' Preet 'Prem please talk to Heer and say normal good bye to her.' Megher kept the phone in speaker mode thinking Heer will be normal if she hears his sound. Without knowing that Prem shouted 'Preet, don't compel me to talk to her. I don't want to see her anymore.' Preet shouted 'it's a simple matter but you are taking that as serious and talking like a stupid.' Prem cut in 'i'm not bothered if you call me stupid. My decision is final. I'll never meet her again.'
Heer closed her mouth and ran to bathroom. She closed the door and leaned on the door. She cried her heart out. After half an hour she gathered her courage to open the door to give respect Megher who is knocking the door with concern.
Heer came out wiping her face 'Megher I'm okay. You go home.' Megher picked up her bag to leave. They heard Teji shouting Heer name in fear. Heer and Megher rushed to Balraj room. They saw he is struggling holding his chest.
Next four hours Heer and Megher were literally running behind the doctors. Megher's parents came to help Teji and Heer. Megher's father called a leading specialist in the city. After few hours Balraj breathed his last. Teji fainted. Heer cried like a mad. Megher don't know what to do.
Preet is coming out of Airport after dropping Prem. Megher called Preet 'Preet, please bring Prem here. Heer needs him now.' Hearing the news from Megher, he rushed inside to stop Prem. He tried his cell but its switched off. The flight took off. Preet fell in a chair and cried. 'Prem you did the mistake. I don't know how Heer is going to live without you?'
