Tere Liye will have Neha Sharma of Bhagyavidhata playing a pivotal role in the show apart from Nikhil Arya and Gitanjali Tikekar of Kasuati Zindagi Kay fame. Promos of the show are already on air and the show is expected to go on air from second week of June.

A source from the show says, "It is a love story with a Bengali backdrop. It will be a love triangle between two boys and a girl. The love story will begin from their childhood. However it will soon take a generation leap. Neha is yet to shoot with us; she is playing an important role. Gitanjali too has been selected to play an interesting character."

The source adds, "Nikhil will have his separate story in the show, there are four to five main characters in the show around which the story will be woven and he is one of them. This story is said to be very close to Ekta, we have just finished shooting for the promos and soon we will reveal our leads."

Neha confirms being part of this show but refuses to divulge any details about her character.

Neha debuted on television with character of Chuttu in Bhagyavidhata. This is her second show. Meanwhile there is speculation that this show resembles Kasauti Zindagi Kay, one of the most popular loves stories of Ekta. Harshad Chopra and Rajat Tokas are playing the male leads while Shakti Arora too is part of it.

neha don't worry ... lets have faith ... i mean we are fans of a wonderful actor ... we should have no reason to feel insecure ... its not like Harshad is a bad actor and the other lead will take over ... so why worry? Competition is good lets just pray it brings even better performances by Harshad ... and being a fan imagine what a treat that would be ... hopefully he will rock again and make it his show once more ... karan, Sushant and now rajat? 😆 sab hi ekta key favorite hey, she even praised Sarwar the lead of Kishav panday and even compared him with Amitabh and dharmindra 🤣 ... the only one i never heard her admiring is Harshad ... but still usko show mey cast kia na? 😆 Am not asking you to have faith in ekta ... lets just have faith in Harshad and pray for his success ... that is all we can do ... pray for him and support him ... rest is not in our hands ... so tension lainey ka kia faida? 😆

And of course it won't be easy for Harshad either ... he has to prove himself all over again, most important being shedding the Harshiti image and prove himself all over again, then shed the Prem image and prove himself in the new role specially if its similar to Prem ... so its all the more important to hope for the best and pray for his success ... it won't be easy for him specially with a parallel lead around but being a wonderful actor that he is hopefully he will over come it all and prove his worth and talent yet again by making the show his "May God be with him and his fans" 😆
