Part 90

Prem opened his eyes in a shock of fear. He is sweating heavily. Heer sensing a sudden jerk in Prem's body opened her eyes. She saw him fully soaked and his eyes with tears. She switched on the bedside lamp. 'Prem, what happened?' she took a towel and wiped his face. She pulled out Chahat out of his hand lay down on the bed.

Heer asked him to remove his kurta which is soaked in his sweat. She handed over him another kurta. He changed and sat in the bed tightly holding the edge of the bed. She sat next to him and touched his shoulder. He turned and hugged her tight.

She into his chest 'did you saw any dream?' holding her tight into his heart 'ha Heer. I'm really scared about t'row.' Her gently pulled herself away. She stroked his hair 'Prem, you are Prem and Prem forever. Now sleep peacefully.' Prem cupping her face 'Heer what will you do if I'm Sagar.' Heer smiled 'no you are not Sagar. My Prem.' Prem 'no Heer if' Heer cut in 'no ifs and buts. You are my Prem. I'm 100% sure.' She saw his unconvinced face.

Heer 'Prem if you are not Prem then how you indentified me and Chahat with your closed eyes?' Prem thought for a second. 'that I love you both.' Heer shook her head 'you didn't make any mistake in identifying your life.' She made him lay down on the bed. Switching off the light she kept her head on his chest 'ask your heart it will tell the truth.' Prem pulled Chahat on to his chest. 'Heer is right. Heer and Chahat are my life. I'm Prem.'

Morning, Prem still confused but believed Heer's words Prem and Heer got ready to go to court. Prem hugged Heer and Chahat tightly with tears. He kissed them on their forehead and cheeks. Prem kissed Chahat several times with tears. He asked her to kiss him back on his cheeks. He asked kiss from Heer with tears. She gave all the kisses he asked for.

Seeing tears in her father eyes Chahat wrapped her hand around his neck 'papa, I won't leave you today.' Prem tried to explain but Chahat not willing to leave him.

Breakfast table, Prem thought 'this is the last time together in this house with my love.' Prem kept Chahat on his lap and feed her. He kissed her in between. Others watched with tears. 'Chahat, from t'row you should eat on your own. You should give any trouble to mamma.' Chahat 'why Papa? Where are you going?'

Prem 'I have some work so I won't be here from today evening.' Chahat putting her hand around his neck 'no Papa. You are not going anywhere. Chahat won't eat without Papa.' She cried burying her face into his chest.

Heer 'Prem, why are you talking to her like this? you are Chahat's Papa.' Lalit 'Prem, don't confuse yourself.'

Prem looking at table 'I don't have confidence dad.' Gaya3 touched his head 'Prem, I know my blood. Believe me.' Prem with tears 'please Ma. Take care of my Heer and Chahat.' Gaya3 'do you think a ma can mistake in identifying her child?' Prem didn't answer.

Preet and Megher are in tears. Heer with tears 'I'll die without you Prem.' Prem shocked. Dream came into his mind which made him more uncomfortable and confuse.

Chahat stretched her hand up to pick her up. Prem picked up in his hand and kissed her cheek. Prem thought Chahat must have understood something from elder discussion. Chahat adamant and accompanied them to court. Megher and Gungun stayed at home. Others went to court with Prem to hear the result. Prem is still thinking about the dream. Everything till now happened like the dream. When he thought the judgement his heart felt heavy.

In the car, Chahat sitting on Prem's lap and leaning on his chest tightly holding his shirt. 'Papa, don't Chahat alone.' Prem hugging her don't know how to explain to her. Heer 'Papa won't leave Chahat.' Heer is holding his arms giving confidence to him.

Lalit and Gaya3 praying to God help them to overcome this test. Preet is driving the car with prayers. Megher at home sat in mandir with Gungun.

Juneja's entered the court. Visaka and Daljeet are already sitting with a smile on their face as if they have heard the judgement. Prem sat with Chahat. Heer held his upper arm tightly. Gaya3 is whispering prayer. Preet and Lalit are clenching their hand together in tension.

Chahat looked around 'papa it is not looks like office. Why Policemen are standing there?' Prem keeping her on his lap 'this is court. We have some work here.' Chahat 'Papa, I didn't like this place. Come we'll go home.' Prem keeping his palm on her cheek 'we'll leave as soon as our work gets over.' Chahat shook her head and leaned on to his chest holding his shirt tightly.

Lawyers came in. Harman pat Prem shoulder and gave confident smile. Visaka and Daljeet are happily talking to their lawyer. Nihal and Veera are confused.

Judge came in. he asked for the report. Judge studied the report. As the seconds moved Prem felt his heart beat in his throat. As the judge looked up to open his mouth Prem clenched Heer hand. He closed his eyes tightly.

Judge gave the judgement after reading the DNA result. 'Lalit Juneja and Chahat Juneja's DNA matches with Prem Juneja aka Sagar. Chahat Junejna DNA matches with Prem Juneja aka Sagar and Heer Juneja. Chandini DNA matches with Visaka but not with Prem Juneja aka Sagar. so he is Prem Juneja not Sagar. He is son of Lalit Juneja and father of Chahat Juneja. So Visaka and Chandini don't have any right on Prem Juneja.'

Prem opened his eyes slowly. He couldn't believe his own ears. He didn't hear words more than that. Tears rolled down his cheeks. 'Heer was correct. I'm Prem. Heer's Prem and Chahat's Papa.'

Chahat lifted her face from Prem chest when she heard her name. She is confused and looked at the Judge 'why that uncle is telling my name and mamma Papa?' she looked at Prem then Heer. She saw her parents crying and tears rolling down their cheeks. She wiped his tears 'papa why are you crying?' He hugged Chahat tightly 'Chahat is papa's Chahat. No one can separate papa from you and mamma.' He pulled Heer into his hands. He pressed his lips deeply on Heer's forehead. 'I'm your Prem Heer.' she nodded. He kissed Chahat on her cheek. He cried hugging Heer and Chahat. 'I couldn't identify my own blood. I had doubt all the time identifying my life.' Heer in tears of joy. Chahat caught in between her Parents hug understood from their face 'they are happy. Everything is fine.'

Lalit, Gaya3 and Preet got up to reach Prem and Heer. Heer took Chahat from his hand. She kissed her cheek 'Papa won't go anywhere leaving Chahat and Papa.' Chahat smiled and kissed her cheek 'ha.' Gaya3 and Lalit hugged him with tears 'you are my son.' Preet give a hug to his PB. Gaya3 pat Chahat cheek with a smile 'your papa.' Chahat proudly kissed Prem cheek 'my papa. Only my papa.' She jumped back into his hands. Prem kissed her cheek 'ha I'm only your papa.' Gaya3 hugged Heer. Preet called Megher to inform the good news.

Awesome. So that was just a dream. So finally he knows that he is Prem. Now only his memory is left to come back.
