Chapter 53
Heer was in the kitchen making lunch just then she thought of ringing prem and she took her mobile from the worktop and she saw 2 miss calls from prem and then she dialled his number but it was on a voice mail saying that he is busy so call later heer called him few more times but again it was going to voice mails and then she gave up and finished her cooking and asked the maid to set up the table and she went to the living room and she saw preet and meher coming down the stairs and she said "you guys go and sit on the table I'm going to get geet" they nodded and sat on the table opposite each other and meher said "preet what if heer di find out? She is going to kill me" preet said "relax baby nothing will happen its preet juneja plan and it will never flop and no one will find out!!!" meher started eating her food and so did preet then heer came with geet and they had their lunch after lunch geet went to her room to rest and meher and preet went upstairs and heer cleaned the kitchen but she was bored now so she sat in the living room reading magazine jus then the door bell rang and heer went to open it and someone gave her a parcel which was for prem she took it and signed the form, she came inside the house and took the parcel to their bedroom the parcel was beautifully wrapped in a silver packaging and she put it in the cupboard for prem but one thing was curious it didn't have the senders name but heer didn't bother she left it there and she went downstairs.
In preets bedroom meher was sitting on the bed and waiting for preet he was in the shower and after like half an hour he came out and he said "are you ready?" meher said "yeah but what are we going to say to heer di" preet smiled at her and he said leave it to me" they went downstairs and preet said "bhabhi me and meher are going to meet our college friends so we will be back in the evening" heer smiled and she said "ok have a nice time" preet said "thanks" but meher was feeling guilty for lying to heer.
Preet took meher to the parlour and he already explained them on what to do with meher so they did her make up which made hr look like a middle aged women and then they gave her a olive green silk saree and the top was cream with meher's hair it was high French bun with diamond clips and she wore a diamond not heavy but elegant necklace and matching earrings and all her fingers had rings and when she got ready she came out and preet was like" wow meher you know when you will be old you will look gorgeous" meher said "whatever" and he said "no seriously meher you look good" meher gave him a fake smile and they went to the restaurant where they were going to meet his girlfriend. They sat on their reserved table and after waiting for like twenty minutes a beautiful girl came and preet got up and gave greeted her and then meher got up and preet said "jaz this is my mum" preet turned to meher and he said "mum this is jasveer but for short is jaz" jaz touched meher's feet and she took blessings and at that moment preet and meher couldn't control their laugh and then jaz got up and she said "its nice to meet you aunty" meher patted her cheek and she said "its nice to meet you too dear" and the they sat down and preet ordered the food and they started eating and then meher said "so jaz who is in your family" jaz said "I have a very big family in my family there is my dad and my mums I mean I have to mothers one who is my own and I have a step mum my dad got remarried but my mother didn't leave him we still living together, and I have 3 sisters and 4 step sisters and one step brother" meher and preet was shocked to hear that and then jaz said "so does preet have any other siblings" meher said "yes I have two sons my elder son is on business trip and younger son is sitting besides you" jaz said "if you don't mind can I ask you where is preets dad?" meher didn't know what to say and she looked at preet for help but he just gave her a smile and she said "oh my husband lives in USA because of his business" jaz said "oh but I heard that preet's dad was sick few days back" meher said "yes he was but he's gone back to USA" jaz nodded and then jaz said "so what do you think if me and preet get married? Will you accept me?"
