mammeet's mom comes and complains abt heer to dj...she insults heer a lot...threatens to break off the alliance!....dj somehow makes her understand...she says that all the demands would be met as heer would sell off the land to fulfil all demands.....heer and meher are shocked on hearing all this!
dj scolds heer too wen heer says that ballu never wanted to sell off the land...dj says that they do not have enough money to get all the daughters married off! dj acts goody goody infront of heer and meher and asks heer to get a job so that she can earn for meher's education!heer meher remember they parents how protectively they had brought them up!

lalu smokes a cigar in his room...preet sees it and brings g3 there so that she can give him a good scolding....in the meantime prem comes in lalu's room......and seeing g3 come he hands the cigar to prem.....he starts scolding prem for smoking a cigar infront of him....g3 understands all his drama and asks him to stop! lalu says wat happened....g3 says she knows her son very well and also that he doesn't smoke coz prem doesn't even know how to hold a cigar! lalu is surprised at the way prem is holding the cigar and decides to teach him...as he does he sees g3's expression and understands he's caught!
he scold preet for calling g3 there...both fatherson have a cute fight where preet calls lalu"ujra chaman"......
g3 pulls prem's ears for even holding a cigar and warns him not to do any such thing in future!

heer is very worried wih the way things are shaping up.....heer decides to do a job so that she can save her father's land....
lalu hears this convo between the sisters and decides to help heer out...in his own way!

next morning heer finds a newspaper at her door where there's an advertisement for a vacancy for a job....heer decides to give the interview!
