Part - 24

Prem and Heer went to hospital. They were holding hands and walking towards the doctor cabin. Heer is just thinking about baby and not giving attention to surroundings. She held his hand tightly and slightly leaning on him walking along with him.

After Checking Heer, doctor smiled 'So Prem is taking care of you nicely.' Heer shyly smiled. Doctor 'Heer and baby, both are healthy.' Prem thanked the doctor.

Doctor 'Gay3 called me today morning. Told everything' Prem and Heer looked at her with confusion.

Doctor understood their confusion 'we are friend in school days. After that I came here with my parents. Then we met twice after marriage. That time you both were very small. When I checked Heer for the first time itself I understood that you are not married. So I didn't inform her.'

Prem 'sorry, we.' Doctor interrupted 'its all happens. You both grew together and needed time to understand your love. I told Gaya3 to inform about the pregnancy to your father after 2 week. According to Gaya3 both your fathers are weak in this calculation.' She smiled.

After receiving more tips from her as a doctor and family friend, Prem and Heer went to house.

Heer went straight to room and layed down in the bed. Prem came behind talking in his mobile. He sat next to her. She quickly cuddled into his arms. He disconnected the line and turned to look at Heer. He smiled looking at her cute smile. She is closing her eyes so didn't see Prem staring at her face. He pushed strand of hair away from her face and bent down and kissed her cheek. He is caressing her cheek increased his girb around her. She opened her eyes and saw him staring into his eyes. She touched his cheek 'what are you thinking?'

Prem nuzzling his nose on her cheek 'thinking about our little princess.' Heer confused 'little princess?'

Prem smiled 'our baby.' Heer quickly 'how can you say' Prem closed her mouth with his index finger 'I'm sure.'

Heer with a questioning face 'how?'

Prem 'exactly like you.'

Heer shyly smiled 'but I want her to have your beautiful eyes.'

Prem kissed her lips 'this lips and cute smile.'

Prem action his left hand 'I'll keep her in this hand like I'm holding you now in right. Both will be with me always.' He moved his lips to her chin then to her throat 'so you also wanted a girl isn't it?'

She cupped his face 'yes.' She pushed his hair on his fore head. Running her fingers through his hair 'I want to give you a gift that always stays with you.' She pulled his nose 'girls always loves their papa more than anything in the world. Even mama comes second for them.'

He kissed her nose 'so she will also stick to me like you.' She shyly nodded and buried her face into his chest. He hugged her tightly 'I'm the luckiest husband and father.'

He lifted her face and cupped with in his palm. He pressed his lips on hers. His gentle kiss made her to respond passionately. Both kissed each other thinking only about their daughter.

Heer in her classroom, She got bored not because of lecture she is missing Prem badly. She wants do everything leaning on his chest. She quickly grabbed her books as soon as the professor moved out of the classroom. Heer and Veera decided to go canteen to have ice cream as Heer felt urgency to eat one. Veera smiled at her carving for ice creams in the cold weather.

Heer walking along with Veera but her thoughts were with Prem. Sensing Heer, Veera didn't disturb her. Suddenly Heer phone rang. Heer face changed as she started answer to the call. Veera looked at her with fear.

Disconnecting the call Veera I have to go. Give your car key.'

Veera stopped Heer who is pulling Veera's purse out of her hand and searching the keys. 'Heer, tell me where do you want to go now? I'll take you.'

Heer with tears 'Prem met with an accident. He is unconscious.'

Veera 'interrupted 'who told you?'

Heer 'I have no time.' She got angry because she couldn't get the key from her purse which has garbage of things. Heer got angry. Veera pulled the purse from Heer's hand. 'Heer, first you call Prem mobile.'

Heer in anger tried Prem mobile which is switched off. 'Veera, don't have time. Please.' She grabbed the key from Veera's hand. Veera shouted 'where?' Heer 'behind the hotel. Towards the riverside.' Veera tried to stop her. But Heer didn't listen to her she started the car and drove towards the direction.

Veera quickly dialled Nihal number. 'Nihal, where is Prem? Why his mobile is switched off?'

Nihal checking his file in his hand 'he is in the meeting.'

Veera with fear 'are you sure?'

Nihal got suspicious. he placed the file down 'Veera, what happened?' Veera explained everything. Nihal in anger 'shit. I'll inform Prem about it. You call Heer and inform that Prem is here with me in the hotel.'

Veera tried to reach Heer in her mobile. But Heer didn't pick up the phone thinking she is trying to stop her.

Nihal rushed into the conference room with fear. He quickly wrote the information in a piece of paper and kept in front of Prem. Prem face changed into fear. He quickly closed the meeting stating that he has a emergency work.

One client protested 'Mr. Juneja, I don't have time. Please finish the dealing.'

Prem is already nearing the door in anger 'no Mr. Patel, every second dealy will cause me a huge loss.'

Patel 'your gain is first interest for you then I'm not interested in signing the contract with you.'

Prem shouted in anger 'I don't care.' He stormed out of the cabin slamming the door harder. Others stood shocked by Prem's behavior. Mr. Patel decided to use this opportunity to divert the clients against Prem.

Patel looked at other clients who are gathering their things to leave 'see he gives importants to his benefits.'

Michael 'Mr. Patael, he is in tension that means he need to leave for emergency. Don't take decisions blankly without knowing the details.'

Patel 'Mr. Michael you don't know about him. He is a typical business man. He does anything to gain profit.'

Michael 'that is your problem. I'm happy about my dealings with him. He never disrespects his clients.' He got up and left the room without waiting for further comment from anyone. Others who are there in the meeting followed Michael with same thought. Patel hit his fist on the table. 'No. Mr. Juneja I won't leave you.' He called someone and informed Prem has left in the middle of the meeting in an emergency.

Heer parked the car in the area mentioned by the person in the mobile. She got out of the car and looked around. Tears rolling down her cheeks. There is no sign of any accident or Prem car. She shouted 'Premmmmm.'

Heer nodded and with tears she headed towards the direction pointed by the man. Her heart started beating fast. She prayed to God that nothing should have happened to Prem. She slipped several times while going down the slope and reached the road. But there is no sign of car or Prem. No sign of human at all.

Only dried leaves under her feet made sound while she stepped forward with fear. She scremed 'Premmm'. Few birds disturbed by her sound started flying from its resting place in fear.

Man1 'yes only a girl.' He smiled wickedly. Heer's stomach started secret juice of fear. She started moving backwards. She understood that some one has cheated by telling fake accident stroy.

As the four men started rounding Heer with a evil smile, she stood with fear. 'leave me. I want to go to my Prem.'

Man1 'you can but you have to allow us to play with you.'

Man2 'otherwise Prem will get your dead body.'

They started stepping closer to her. She looked around and found the area is covered with trees and away from the main road. There is no sign of human around. She shouted 'please leave me. Prem won't leave you alive.'

Man3 'Prem never get to know about you any more. We have planned everything carefully.' When four men laughed, Heer screamed 'Premmmmmmmmm.' Men clapped their hands 'shout as loud as you can. But your Prem cannot hear anything.' Heer felt her heart beat in her throat. Fear of death gripped her. She is not worried about death but she don't want these hungry dogs to touch her body. She don't want to leave this world without giving Prem her gift. She looked around for help.

They slowly stepped forward with a smile of victory. Their laugh made her eyes push out more tears. Heer closed her eyes and covered her face with her palm. She screamed as loud as she can 'Premmmmmmmmmmm.'
