Character sketch

Lalit juneja he is a well settled rich business man he loves his kids and his wife but he doesn't get enough time to spend with them because he is busy with his work. He is a great person very caring and honest.

Gayatri juneja she is a idol mother and she loves her husband and her kids especially prem she always fulfil his wishes and never said a no to him she always agrees with prem and for him she can fight with the world.

Prem juneja he is 24, he is rich, famous, rude and clever he is very arrogant and thinks too high about himself he is a spoilt and does not believe in a true love he thinks love is a game you can play it and finish it either way you will win.

Preet juneja he is 22 and he has good sense of humour and he hates working he in college but he hardly studies he goes their or fun and check out girls, he is not rude but funny.

Balraj Maan he is rich but he never shows off he lives like a normal ordinary person, he is a very honest and kind person he loves his daughter, his daughter is everything to him and he can do anything for her. His wife past away when heer was 3 years old and balraj never let heer miss her mum because he was always there for her he was a mother and a father to heer.

Heer Maan a very beautiful and talented girl she believes in true love and she is very down to earth she does not care about money she likes to live a simple life and she believes that women should be treated equally to men. She respects everyone but if someone disrespects her then she does not stay quiet she makes them regret for disrespecting her.

These are the main characters but maybe in the story some new characters will be introduced but at the moment the story starts with them.

Chapter 1

Today heer and prem is getting engaged and their wedding is next week heer was wearing a white and turquoise lehenga with white short top which had turquoise stone work on it and she had her matching jewellery and her was straight and open. She was nervous because today is the first time she would see prem face to face although she have seen him before but that is like in business parties but they never spoke to each other but she have heard a lot about prem from her father who praises him a lot.

Heer was walking to the centre of the hallway with her bauji and around her was crowd of people and there was her prince charming standing in the centre of the hall with his family he looked so handsome in his white and turquoise sherwani she thought wow their colour combination is matching then she reached near them and her bauji introduced her to prem's family and then they heer took blessings from his parents and then they exchanged rings and now they are engaged and heer was feeling very happy and lucky today because she liked the guy her father chose for her. Prem and heer did their first dance prem moved his hands to her waist and heer had her arms around his neck and they were moving to the dance steps and they both were looking into each others eyes and what heer noticed that prem had this funny smile which was crept on his lips and he had a smirk on his face but heer didn't give much pay attention to that because she was so lost I thinking about him and their future. And on the other side prem was thinking oh god when is this going to be over and he was feeling pity on heer because she doesn't what is coming on her way in her life because her life will take a totally different turn from where she would be so lost that she would not know what to do next. From inside he was laughing at her because he never wanted to get married at first place but now because he has agreed and that is only to keep his parents happy so this marriage will be like a any other business proposal for him a contract. They both came out of their thoughts as soon as the music stopped playing and they both let go of each other and walked to where their family was standing. Heer stood quietly next to prem and they were greeting the guests and then the party finished heer and her bauji said bye to the juneja family and they all went home.

Next morning heer got up early and she and her best friend meher went shopping meher is orphan and she lives in orphanage home and now she is moving at heer's house because now she is 18 so she can move out of the orphan home so know when heer will be gone to her in-laws after the wedding meher will be here to look after her bauji. Heer bought her wedding outfit and also she bought some saris and churridar suits for herself they did lots of shopping and came back home and meher helped heer organise her stuff and she stayed at heer's house.

After 6 days

Meher shrieked "wow di tomorrow is the big day oh my god your getting married" heer gave her smile and she said "meher dear calm down I'm only getting married what's the big deal" meher exclaimed her forehead and she said "di are you okay I mean you are not excited finally you are going to be Mrs Prem Juneja" heer smiled at her shyly and then she started looking at her mehndi where it had prem's name written in the little heart she was staring at the name blankly and then meher shook her and brought her out of her senses. Then they heard the knock on the door and meher went to open the door and she saw bauji standing there he patted meher's cheek and he came inside and sat beside heer on her bed and he touched heer's head and he had tears in his eyes which he was holding back he said "I still cant believe that you are getting married I still think that you are a my little heer but time goes pass real quick I never thought that this day would come really quickly and my daughter will leave me" heer started crying and she hugged her bauji and meher hugged both of them and then they broke out from the hug and heer said "bauji I don't want to leave you and meher" bauji smiled and he said "well beta you will have to go to your in-laws house because every girl has to leave her fathers house one day and the same comes with you" heer was sobbing and she was hugging bauji and he looked at her and he said "heer if you don't stop crying then what about me and meher we are going to be even more upset" then heer wiped her tears off and she gave them big smile and then bauji said "that's like my girl" and then he kissed her on her forehead and left the room. Then meher and heer hugged and they said goodnight to each other and drifted to sleep.
