CHAPTER 3
He saw her coming down stairs,wearing pure white shalwar kameez. Her wet hairs
hanging down in a lose bun,some strands of her hair playing on her face,Completely
looking like an angel.Wait.....I am not supposed to think all this.One thing is clear in
my mind I HATE HER, thought prem in his mind.
She came down and stood at a distance from the dinning table where Prem and
meher both were having there Breakfast. She was looking down while prem was
staring at her.Meher looked at the Girl standing infront of her.Some bruises and
scratches were visible on her arms and face.
Meher looked at prem and asked " Prem bhaiya yeh kaun hai" she asked looking
at Heer then to prem.Prem broke his gaze on her and said." Is ghar ki naye "NAUKRANI"
Balraj Maan ki betee"
Meher didnt said anything infront of prem.She remained silent while prem ordered the
servant to guide Heer. After having his breakfast he left for his work.The chief servant
guided Heer to kitchen and started to tell her about the rulesa and regulations of the house.
After a while a servant came and informed heer that Meher has called her up to her room.
heer thought that if prem's torture was less Now she have to face Meher's hatred as well.
Heer didnt knew who is she? and what is her relation with Prem.Heer knocked on the
door and a voice called her in.She entered the room and saw Meher standing near her
cupboard.
When meher saw her coming and shake her head indicating her to sit. Heer sat on the
couch placed there,she was nervous and her nervousness was visible to meher cause
she was fiddling with her dupatta.Meher sat beside her holding a box in her hand.It was
first aid box. She started to apply anticiptic on her forehead wound.
Heer was surprised by her action,she thought that she will also get a scolding from this
lady but she looks different.Meher kept doing her work with out saying anything nor heer
said anything.But Meher broke the silence between them." prem bhaiya hamisha se aise
nahii the" she said applying a small plaster on her forehead." Woh appki bhai hai" heer
asked hesitantly." Woh mere jeth hai,Mere pati ki bhari bhai" Meher answred her while
closing the first aid box.Heer was looking at her with questioning eyes Meher understood
that what Heer was thinking." Mai harman juneja ki Widwa hoon" meher said lokking at her.
Heer looked at her in amazement and then at her cream colour saree.She felt bad for her
that at such young age she became a widow. Heer lowered her gaze sadly."App janti hai
mai kaun...."before she can continue Meher interrupt her " Mai janti hoon,dukh tu is baat
ka hai mai yeh sab ruk nahii payee,tumhi aise ghalti ki sazaa mil rahee hai jo tumni kiya
he nahii" Meher placed her hand on her shoulder in a concerning way.
Before heer could say anything the servant came in holding tray of food.She placed it
on the table in front of Heer and went away."Tumni khana nahii khaya na" Meher said
to heer.Heer looked at her thinking how can she be so caring and strong.How she is
still being so nice to her after the knowing the fact that HER HUSBAND WAS KILLED
BY HER BROTHER.
One mistake took all the joy and colour from her life.At such young age she has gone
through such a big pain. But she was still smiling and supporting her and telling heer
that she felt bad because she was unable to help her. Thinking all this Heer's eyes
brimmed with tears and she was unable to hold her tears.Tears rolled down her cheek.
Meher wiped her tears with her left hand and with right hand she tried ti fed her but heer
looked at door hesitantly.The door was open and if prem came there .He was definnatly
going to be angry on Meher as well.For treating Her enemy so kindly.
"Tum ghabrawo mat ,Prem bhaiya ghar par nahii hai." Meher assured her and then fed
her.This time heer didnt refused it and ate from her hand.Aftet Heer was finished with
her food she left back for her work before prem came.heer was really very scared of him.

It was evening time when prem came back from his work and straightly went to his room
After a wgile Meher came in his room."prem bhaiya mujhe app se kuch baat karni hai"
meher said to prem."Bolo" prem replied he was sitting on the edge of his bed." Bhaiya
yeh sab theek nahii hai,Jo bhii huwa us sab mai Heer ki koi ghalti nahii hai ,tu phir ussi..."
Meher coudnt continue because prem interrupted in mid. " Dushmano ki liye dil mai sirf
Nafrat honi chahiye hamdardi nahii" he said straighlty ."Un ki ghaltiyo ki sazaa qanoon
haina denee ki liye" Meher said."Qanoon Sirf ussi 14 saal ki sazaa detee,Likin mai ,Mai
ussi pal pal marte huwi dekna chahta hoon.Tarapte huwi dekna chata hoon bilkul ussi
tarah jisse mera bhai tarpaa tha,agar nihaal ko qanoon sazaa deta tu shayad sief ussi
takleef hoti likin apni Behin ko yaha humare ghar mai dek kar poora khandaan pal pal aik
nayee maut marta hoga." prem said fuming in anger
Meher was shocked to see such a side of prem.she has only seen a caring and loving
prem But this prem is so different he can only think of revenge and can go to any extent
to have his revenge."Dobaara is baare mai mujh se koi baat mat karna" prem said and
turned his back towards meher.Meher walked out of his room.

TWO MONTHS AGO
Harman Juneja was working on a new project to build up a Luxurious hotel For foreign
guests and visitor in a small village of Ambala.The land he choosed for construction
was beneficial for him in many ways.He wanted that land at any cost but The owner of
that land,Balraaj Maan was striktly against it, Firstly because it was a agricultural land
and secondly because It was the only momentum of his Great grand father. He didnt
want to lose it at any cost.
Harman pressurized Them in many ways in order to get the land from them but all
his efforts was in vain.Because balraj Maan's supporter was his son,Nihaal Maan.
Who himself knew the great value of the land.Harman thought of a plan to get the land.
One day harman's detective who was spying on Nihaal for a long time give him the
information that Nihaal was going to visit the land side alone.Harman thought to
pressurize and torture Nihaal to get the land He took with himself some goons to
scare Nihaal.And somehow take his signature on the Land's paper.
The situation between Nihaal and Harman worsened when after much torturing and
all Nihaal Refused to sighn the papers. There talk-fight was changed to Physical fight.
The goans were beating Nihaal ,Nihaal was succesful in snatching the Knife from one
of the goons hand.He had no intension to harm any one But just to save him self from them.
Harman stumbled on the stone and fell forward.Nihaal thought that Harman was
attacking on him,to save himself he turned the around and mistakenly The Knife
hit harman.The sharp poisonous knife entered harman's body piercing his stomach.
The goans ran way from there seeing the blood coming out of harman's pierced
stomach.Nihaal pushed him backward and harman fell on the ground,Blood was
ozing out his head and stomach.the Knife was still stuck in his stomach.
Nihaal was in state of shock He had no intention to Kill him.He just wanted to save
him self he was just trying to defend him self.He was Shocked,Scared,and confuse
what to do??His mind had stopped working at that moment.Instead of getting harman
to hospital he run away from there.Leaving behind harman, Who was bleeding and his
woundering eyes were screaming for help.But there was no one to help him.to listen to
him.His vision got blurred and then his eyes were closed for ever.
Being in a small village ,where there is no proper law and order the "Panchahit" takes
decisions for every problim and every one. the "surpanch' decision is accepted by all.
and no one can never raise voice against there wrong decision.When everyone came
to know that Harman was killed By Nihaal,and the goons also went against nihaal and
said that Harman was only talking to him about the land But he went on physical fight
and killed harman.Nihaal was found guilty Juneja's wanted to take revenge from Maan's
as per rule "Khoon ki Badle Khoon" Balraj Maan cried and begged for his son's life in front
of Lalit juneja panchait saying that Nihaal is his ONLY son please forgive him..He is his only
hope of life.
Lalit Juneja being a greedy and cunning man he said infront of the panchahit that he is
ready to forgive Nihaal Maan but balraj maan have to give the ownership of that land to
them.The land worth 30 crores were given to Juneja as concession BUT this was not
all according to the Rules set by pancait the victims family can ask for anything as
concession from the other side.
Prem juneja was the one who asked for there daughter,Heer Maan as concession for
his brother death to settle scores with them. Balraaj Maan was shocked to hear this
but not everyone because it wasnt anything new for them,It has happened several
times In that village.Many families have given there daughter as "khoon ka badla"
just to save there Son's life.
Being in 21st century and living in 2009 There thinking was still the same and old.
They always think low for girls. Girls were always considered "Unlucky". Heer's
family's thoughts and behaviour with her was not different than the other Villagers
But Heer's Brother Nihaal was the only one who loved her sister.If it wasnt Nihaal Heer
wouldnt be able to go abroad for her educations.Nihaal always supported Her in her
every decision.
Balraj was shocked to hear there Demand How can they ask for there daughter who
is getting marry in a day or two.all the arrangments are done The bharaat is about to
come from Mumbai and here the panchait is asking him to give his daughter as
concession.First he disagreed but later on For sake of his Only son's life.The only
heir of Maan family Nihaal Maan,Balraj agreed to give his daughter to them.
NIhaal was the only one who didnt agreed to there demand.He refused to send her
Younger sister with them as a MISTRESS . Nihaal stood against there decision. Balraaj
saw that there is no use of talking with Nihaal and try to persue him ,He lied to Nihaal
and send him to Mumbai for some work.In his absence Balraaj sent Heer To Juneja
house to save his son's life.
IMP. NOTE:- I know its a bit strange story but it is inspired from a true story.These things
still happen in Villages.I have seen many girls who have gone through These things. Its
my cousin"s story Imran bhai(prem.This was a short summary of what had happened as
i didnt want you guys to be confuse as the story moves on i will give detail flashback of
each scene.Pardey ki peechey abhii bohut kuch hai...😉
